God this for my dad, who is blind in one eye and he loves it because the light goes all the way around the magnifying glass, is bright and isn’t blurry . It is a little heavier and bulkier , but worth it. Very well made. I myself have severe dry eye and hv a different one ahd hated it. I ordered this one myself ahd for my mom and I keep it by my bed and have one in the kitchen for labels. Easy to use. Performs well. A little bulky but if you hv used any of the others with a light, you won’t mind . It’s not heavy. Just a little bigger and better.

Thirty. Freaking. X. That’s not a magnifier, that’s a full-on electron microscope for the fabulous and over-40 crowd. I held it over my jewelry and suddenly my “vintage” rings looked like they belonged in the Crown Jewels – every scratch, every sparkle, every questionable life choice that led to that cubic zirconia screaming in 4K. But wait, the DRAMA doesn’t stop there. Eighteen – count ’em – EIGHTEEN LEDs with three modes: cold light (for when you’re feeling clinical and want to judge your pores), warm light (for cozy late-night reading that makes you feel like a sexy librarian), and mixed (because why choose when you can have it all?). It’s brighter than my future and twice as illuminating. The lens is legitimately HUGE – no more doing the awkward magnifying-glass-hover-dance trying to catch two sentences at once. I can finally read ingredient labels without pressing my face into the jar like a desperate raccoon. Seniors? Coin collectors? Jewelry hoarders? Macular degeneration warriors? This is your new ride-or-die. Lightweight, sturdy, doesn’t make my wrist cry after five minutes, and the lights are so extra I half expect it to start beat-dropping. For the price? Honey, I’d pay double just to watch it outshine every other sad, dim, 5X drugstore tragedy I’ve ever owned.

This is the best magnifying glass I've ever had. The lighting really enhances the magnification making my old eyes see CLEARLY! BAng for Buck, this is a winner!

I love this magnifying glass! I am an artist who is loosing her vision and this glass really helps me when I draw! I love the lights! IT is easy to hold and easy to use. I liked it so much that I went back and bought another one for computer use. Just be careful because the on/off switch is easy to accidentally turn on....thus 4 stars, or else it would be 5!

My co-workers love this magnifying glass with multiple lighting options. I bought one of these magnifying glasses for one of the guys at work and when another worker borrowed it, he wanted one as well. A nice compact size, takes batteries, which makes it a little heavy, but not a big deal.

Great magnifying glass. 3 different light modes make anything easy to see. The only possible problem is the weight. With the batteries it is too heavy for my 90ish MIL to use but I love it.

This magnifying glass with lighting is great. In fact I like it so much this is the second one I bought. As I got older, it got harder to read the teeny tiny print that they put on boxes, bottles and cans. This magnifying glass with the built-in light solved my problem.

I've been really pleased with this magnifying glass. I use it to check for pests on my house plants, it's great for looking under leaves and in the middle of the new growth to see if there are any of those pesky thrips or the like hiding away. Any new plants that comes in the house now has to pass muster under this magnifying glass, especially this time of year. It doesn't seem too matter where I buy the house plants from, they often arrive with extra guests. The glass itself feels solid and well-made. The light is a good idea and makes it easier to see what I am peering at. My eyesight, even corrected isn't particularly good these days, and it is difficult to focus on small things so this magnifying glass with additional light is extremely helpful. There is bright white light, a softer white and a mixture of the two. It is easy to cycle between the options using the button on the handle. The magnifying glass takes three AAA batteries, I've put some rechargeable ones in and they have worked fine. I'd say the only thing that would improve this product is a small case to protect the glass, although I found one in the house which I'd been using for something else and which is better than nothing. I do think the magnifying glass would quite quickly get scratched if just stuffed in a drawer.
