The watch looks ok but you can't read the dials at night. The parts that look like metal in the pic are actually plastic. I also didn't realize how much I would miss having the date on my watch. I have gotten quite a few complements on the style of the watch though. It is extremely loggt weight as well. I would have gone for one with dials I can see in low light and the date being on the watch if I could do the purchase again.

This is exactly what I was expecting and hoping for, and my husband loves it. It is extremely light, so I wouldn’t recommend wearing this as an everyday or around the house watch, as any damage will be less forgiving than a metal watch with sapphire face. This was a gift for our 5th/Wood anniversary, and is perfect. I was concerned, after reading reviews, that the face would not be easy to read. My husband is color blind and still has no issue reading and seeing the time markers on the dark face. We tried to size this ourselves, but ended up taking it to our local jeweler. Beautiful piece!

I've owned this watch for just shy of a year, and I've worn it practically every day.1) Despite constant wear, no visible nicks, scuffs, or wood deterioration. I have an office job, but still, very impressive. It looks shockingly identical to the day I got it in the mail.2) This watch is so light! That's one of the things that amazes people when they ask about it. And despite its weight, the build quality is excellent.3) People notice this watch. I'm in a profession where nice and/or expensive watches are the common, but people ask about THIS watch.Excellent job, Treehut.

This watch broke after only having it for two weeks and the company won't contact me about replacing it. Poor quality!

I'm a woodworker and was naturally drawn to this watch. I was a little skeptical about the price and durability because I am reckless with a long history of destroying watches. When this watch arrived it came in a really nice case, and I was really surprised at how light it was. I now wear this all the time and all day at work - which is in a cabinet shop. I'm constantly bumping it on things and scratching it - however the photograph attached was taken the day I am writing this review ( watch delivered September 3rd 2019). As you can see, the watch is in fantastic condition! The scratches on the wood seem to disappear. Not only is the watch beautiful, but it is crafted well out of real wood as described. It was easy to size just like any other watch and the battery can be replaced just like any other watch again. I am always getting compliments on this watch. I will definitely be getting more from Treehut!

When I was doing research for a new wooden watch I stumbled across this one which only had one review even being 5 stars it made me hesitant on lack of reviews. I read the description and was hooked along with the beauty of the burl being that I'm a wood worker I appreciate the detail of the picking and making of the wood into a watch. It came on time with two day shipping in a cardboard box no damage at all. Once opened there was no scratches dings dents or any issues of any sort, was also able to adjust the bands length fairly easily. Watch face is a bit larger than standard watches but it does it justice and does not feel to big or look to big also the watch is lightweight as can be hardly feel the watch is even there.

It's difficult to tell from the pictures just how large this watch is — a whopping 44 mm. The size is not listed prominently in the product description, or if it is, I didn't see it, and so I was surprised when I opened the box. It's huge. OK, so that's the style. I suppose even people with small wrists, like me, are wearing large watches these day. However, the wood band is designed such that a maximum of only four links can be removed, even by a jeweler. Consequently, even with the band now at its smallest, the watch slides around uncomfortably on my wrist. It is indeed a beautiful piece, lightweight and charming. But because it can't be sized enough downward, I don't recommend it if you have a thin wrist, even if you want to wear a large watch.

Really disappointed in this. Just opened and this thing is dirty. Almost used. It looks like whoever boxed this thing up was eating lunch or something as used the paperwork to wipe their hands with. Also there is no instructions on how to size.

Update: - I had an issue with the pin breaking on this thing. It had minimal wear so I was kindof disappointed. I am keeping it at 5 stars as Treehut is amazing and shipped me out a replacement watch. That is customer service at it's best. I have had a few more friends buy these after seeing it they were so impressed too. I will be getting a few more.These watches are awesome. Arrived quickly. Look amazing. I got a few to give to some of my friends and they all loved them as well. The wood grain is very nice. They are lighter than I expected them to weigh. They also keep very good time so far. I would have preferred a bigger face but that is only because I am used to my Nixon watch.

It is an absolutely beautiful watch! I love the look of the zebra wood contrasted with the darker wooden boarders. What surprised me when I first picked it up is the weight. I am used to watches this size being quite heavy (having owned a few metal watches of comparable size). It is almost feather light by comparison. It is simple, elegant and I can't under-emphasize how much I am enjoying having this watch on my wrist.

Bought for my boyfriend for Christmas he loves it so much! He had to take to a jeweler to get sized it was $5 :)
