Made in usa
I searched big box stores and online for tool boxes saw plenty I liked but when I saw where it was made I wouldn't buy it. So far I uave had the box a year and it is working great

A Waterloo with a cool paint job
It's a nice tool storage unit. It's big and I'll definitely grow into it(time to buy some more tools!). I was looking at the Waterloo stuff because they came up as a US manufacturer, which is important to me. I was just about set on them but then I saw this CAT that is made in USA. I read the product info on amazon which mentioned this box is made in Sedalia, MO, the same place Waterloo has their manufacturing plant so I had a hunch that this might come from the same plant. Sure enough, the paperwork that came with this says made by Waterloo which is fine by me. It seems to be a good quality medium duty box, suitable for a DIY guy like me. The drawers don't have the heaviest weight rating but they should serve me fine and they operate smoothly. The handle on the side of the rolling cart has plastic ends which don't seem like they'd take a lot of abuse but shouldn't be a big deal because I don't plan on moving this thing around. As somebody else mentioned, it would be nice if the very top compartment came with the embossed liner like all of the drawers have but I can always get something to put in there. The locks seemed a little sketchy at first - they didn't seem especially smooth but I think I'm used to them now - they work - everything closes and it all works so no big deal there either. The only other thing I can think of, given the size of this unit, it would be nice if it had swivel casters on all four corners so it would be easier to maneuver around in my garage while I get everything situated. Overall, like I said, a nice looking, functional, medium duty, US made tool storage unit. If I were a mechanic, I'd go with a heavy duty box that costs at least twice as much as this but I'm not so I think this will be great and I'd recommend to a friend who was in the same situation. It has a 10 year warranty, which is a nice plus. It came well packaged, no missing parts and no damage. It's the 52" model and was easy for me to set up by myself but your mileage may vary - it would be helpful to have two people lift the chest up on top of the rolling cart.11/10/18 Update: The top and bottom are keyed differently and I had the misfortune of putting the wrong key in one of the locks and it broke off. Not good.
