Can these nozzles be filled and then switched over to an empty plunger (like a needle with luer lock tip) to push out the epoxy with just air?

Good idea. I believe it will work well. I will try it next time I use mine. I have just been buying lots of extra tips. I use acetone to cleanup this goop. messy, but it woks. I would clean out the tip with a small rod or stick then try to flush using acetone and the plunger to propel ti in and out till clean

Has anyone successfully used these and the nut on the 3m cartridge on the Sem epoxy seam sealer cartridges with the integral nut mixing tubes?

Is the tube housing and spiral mixer a 2-part assembly?

You have to have the gun and the nut and one of these tubes along with the adhesive so all together you have four items. The nut comes on the adhesive along with a plug to keep the adhesive from drying. You remove the nut then the plug and then place this tube through the nut and screw it on to the gun. I always leave my tube in place until I am ready to use it again. At that time I take off the old dried out tube and put on a new. The old will keep it from drying out.
