Speedball 12-Inch Round Medex Pottery Wheel Bat

I've only been using this bat for a few weeks. So far very happy with it. It's thicker than most bats. I throw my pot on this bat and then use it as a ware board. Because it is so thick, it looks like it might not warp. The only negative is that, because of the thickness, it is difficult to remove from the wheel. But the easy fix to this is I slip my steel rib under it and it comes right out. I would recommend this product.

I used it once or twice and by the third time, the bat was warped.

Y'all would sell more at a realistic price. I wanted five, but compromised and bought just one.

The bat started to soak up water and swell immediately and it is not very thick. These are cheap garbage.

Sits well, Holds clay well. The only thing is it is a little difficult to get clay off but all bats are like that. I have noticed some scuff marks (little dents in the material).

I am going to love this bat. Compared to the plastic ones....... it's so much better!

so far ok. appears to be a slight warping when damp. time will till. perhaps a thicker bat would work better.
