I don’t know, but it holds very well

Yes. Can usually fit one or 2 cloves at a time depending on how big the clove is. Easy clean up.

I think its steel coated with Chrome..... Its very good quality.... The best garlic press I’ve ever used..... I bought one for my girlfriend and for my boat.... get it you wont be let down
