Incredible
Addicted to this after trying it in Leon’s porridge. I could eat it in everything, so smooth and rich tasting. Not too sweet, absolutely perfect, can’t live without it!

Excellent healthy product
Tastes amazing and it’s completely guilt free as it is just made out of medjool dates. Will buy again. I just hoped it was less expensive.

Wonderful stuff. 😋
If you've never had good date paste before, you really are missing out. There's nothing that tastes quite the same as that sticky, fruity, honeyed paste. I cook a lot of dishes of Middle Eastern & North African origin & date paste is pretty irreplaceable in some dishes if you want them to be "right".I've made my own in the past, but is a costly & messy business. A kilo of dates with pits in costs about £8 [you're getting 440g of date paste for £8.49 so I'm happy with the price], if you forget to take the pits out before blending there's a good chance you'll break the blender & cleaning up afterwards is a total horror show... date paste is STICKY!Dates are pretty good for you [don't go crazy though, too much can result in rapid loo breaks], they're really high in fibre & iron, potassium, magnesium, copper, manganese and vitamin B6. Plus they are suitable for vegans & are gluten free. You don't have to just use date paste for exotic dishes, its also great on hot buttered toast, in flapjacks, on pancakes, smoothies, ice-cream, great on a cheese/charcuterie board or to change up old deserts like bananas Forster. They say to use within one month of opening. This really isn't a problem for me, I have trouble not eating it all once its open, but I've seen jars that seemed perfectly fine to eat for longer than that if kept in the fridge.Think its a good buy, even with a really good blender you'll struggle to make a date paste as smooth & tasty as this, plus a little goes a long way so excellent value for money.

Expensive but very good flavour
The jar contains 440g of 100% Medjool Date paste. Nutritional information per 100g Energy 1238.46kj/296kcal; Fat 0g of which saturated 0g; Carbohydrates 70g, of which sugars 60g; Protein <1.5g; Fibre 5g; Potassium 696mg,Directions- keep in Cool, shaded place. Refrigerate once opened and use within 30 days. The jar took a lot of opening. The paste is very thick and tastes delicious but not as strong as i thought it would be. This is a convenient way of having date paste as it takes a lot of messing around to make your own and is awful to wash out of a food processorThe paste tastes lovely on crumpet and toast and sweetens smoothies nicely. I was surprised to read that this product is low on the glycemic index and lower in sugar than honey, agave and maple syrups. it is also high in potassium, iron and fibre so good for health. I'm just interested in how good it tastes and how versatile it is in cooking. It makes some really good vegan energy bars with nuts and seeds. My family have really enjoyed this product. The price at the time of review for a single jar is unavailable but around £16.98 for a double jar. It is therefore quite expensive so I wouldn't use it for every day snacks but would definitely use it for a treat and buy it occasionally.

Very tasty and great for baking or on top of hot buttered roast.
This review is for a jar of Medjool date paste.INGREDIENTS** Dates, nothing except medjool dates.SIZE** 440g sized jar.IMPORTANT / WORTH NOTING** This date paste is suitable for vegans** It is gluten freeTHINGS I LIKE** This lovely date paste is made from 100% de-stoned and pressed Medjool dates.** Superb for cooking ... date and walnut cake (yum)** An unusual topping for hot buttered toast or crumpets.** This paste can also work as a sweetener in baking.** Can also be used in place of honey, maple syrup, golden syrup or sugar.** Dates are good for you, they are high in fibre, iron, potassium, magnesium, copper, manganese and vitamin B6.THINGS I DON'T LIKE** Nothing to dislike ... all good.IN USEI'm really enjoying using this date paste in baking ... So far I've made a really delicious date and walnut cake and also some date and walnut flapjacks which were surprisingly very nice indeed. My husband and I have also used this paste on top of biscuits and hot buttered toast and it went down a treat.PRICE£8.49 (price correct at the time of this review) actually isn't too bad a price as it's a very sweet spread and you don't need to use too much at once.Thank you for reading and I hope you have found my review helpful

Absolutely delicious!
This date paste tastes amazing, much better than anything I’ve attempted that’s for sure. Having tasted this, and seen how smooth it is, I’d never bother processing dates again - I certainly won’t miss cleaning my processor after either! They obviously used quality Medjool dates for this paste, the depth of flavour is really good. They’ve used glass jars and you can keep it in the fridge for a month once opened. Any I haven’t used up by then I will add to foods I’m freezing or try freezing it in ice cubes. This tastes so much better than jams and dates have a low GI, in small amounts or used in keto energy balls they can be used on a low carb diet. They add a different type of sweetness that isn’t syrupy and provide good fibre. I like putting date paste in keto almond thumbprint cookies. It’s a small amount but has lots of flavour. It’s good in Greek yogurt, porridge, on toast or in baking and also compliments nut butters very well. The price of £8.49 for 440g seems reasonable to me, quality date paste is expensive to make and extremely messy and it’s never this smooth or this tasty. I’ve frozen date paste in the past with no issues so anything unused after a month would be frozen or put in goods I’d freeze.
