This DVD presents itself as a quality collection. It's the best World History DVD set, I own to date!I would like to introduce to you what my experience was like when I purchased this set.First of all, the price was right at under $14.00. (on sale at this time). The set was new, with no scratches!Secondly, the movie set experiences were a true Masterpiece when viewing this collection.Third, there were not one or two, but four DVDs that had a multitude of events in each DVD that will entertain, educate, and inspire you.Fourth, I enjoyed no more than one DVD each time, day, or week so I could have some action to look forward to, which made my life better! :)Fifth, The DVDs had the Incas, Egyptians, Ancient Rome, The Forbidden City, The Lost City of Pirates, Machu: The City in the Sky, The Odyssey of Troy, The Search for Shangri-La, *The Sunken City- my favorite! The information in the dvd was very helpful

This is definitely dated, specially when Leonard Nimoy is narrating. You can tell it was produced in the 90’s, it’s not horrible. The reenactments leave a lot to be desired, overall not bad .

excellent documentaries: great visuals and a thorough commentary

if you want to know more about this planet were on then look to the past. Look for technologythe ancient ruins of the past how they laid 50 ton rocks and did it so well if you need provethat we reached high level of skill then lost it then look around the world for things that standout the great pyramid has the library of knowledge and can be accessed mentally. Teslaand many others have found how just they didn't know it was from the computer systemrunning in the pyramid when lighting is around it charges it and if lighting close by within500 to 1000 miles then person in state to receive knowledge of the system

It’s got older footage but still a great to watch and you get to hear Nimoy narrate. Perfect for a trekky head!

There are a number of stories on the discs. The sound quality is poor, and since there are no subtitles, one cannot fill in what is not heard clearly. One of the shows has such loud and unnecessary music the narrator cannot be heard.

I love anything to do with the ancient times or worlds and in this case the Lost Cities. There is so much about this planet we have yet to discover and this history package is great. If anyone is as interested about learning more about this planet and anything to do with the ancient or worlds, I really do recommend this package.
