What is the exp date for this product now? the description states -the best by date is 9/17/18! is it still the case?

It depends. If you have refrigerated them, they can last quite a bit beyond the best-by date. If you freeze them, it's even better. But the very best way to make sure is to smell them. You will be able to tell if they've gone rancid....it happened to me when they were unrefrigerated for a month in summer in Arizona!

Can you use these with chicken salad?

A dollop of finely chopped chicken salad would be very good! Perhaps with sliced almonds on top. Nice appetizer. Serve within a short period time - otherwise, shell might get soggy.

Were these supposed to arrive frozen? Mine were not. Can I freeze ?

These cups are prepared and were frozen. They arrive thawed. You can place the cups in a ziplock bag and freeze up to 2 months.
