I had a diameter of 5.93mm or 0.234in and a thickness of 2.52mm or 0.101in **Q: Will these rust outside ?** A: Mine have not rusted. I have them a while. **Q: What size drill bit to fit these in wood or metal?** A: They are 5mm. There is 25.4mm in an inch. 3/16th is 4.7625mm. 1/4" is 6.35mm So these would be a little big for 3/16th bit, and a little small for a 1/4". Here's an idea, go back to elementary school math class or buy a set of metric bits.
