this thing is hugeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. does anyone know a recepticle i can stick it in?

I line a small wastebasket with a used plastic bag from the grocery store then put in an 8-gallon white trash bag and keep the scoop in there. My set up is ready for next time I clean the boxes. Scooper stays in that can except when being used.

Will you please make one with smaller slits? When urine clumps break apart no current scooper catches the pea size pieces causing a mess.

A great litter that works with this scoop is Arm and Hammer Clump and Seal-no more urine clumps falling apart to slip between the cracks of the scoop. Has made a HUGE difference for me. Took FOREVER to finally find a great clumping litter.

Does this scooper picks up very small particles of poop?

That’s the problem with all poop scoopers. The holes are too wide, not allowing smaller pee crumbs to be scooped up. This ends up making a mess. It’s bizarre that I can’t find a metal scoop with smaller slots.

is this steel or aluminum? description says both.

I got this and love it. I think it is both. Steel made with aluminum coating maybe? It isnt heavy this way, but it's the BEST scoop. I can get everything of my litter box easier. I always felt I was going to break my plastic scoop -
