Great rocker sandals
MBT is always my go to shoe or sandal. I used to suffer from plantar fasciitis. Wearing these shoes and sandals has completely transformed my feet. No more foot pain. I truly recommend MBT! MBT is an excellent quality product! You will not be disappointed. God bless

MBT: Incredible Sandal for Foot Disorders
Virtually every aspect of this sandal is adjustable so very wide feet can be accommodated without purchasing a shoe the size of a canoe. I had plantar fasciitis that was so bad I had to crawl to the bathroom in the morning after being off my feet all night. I pronated badly and wore out normal shoes in record time. I went to a shoe store, nearly 20-years ago, that specialized in foot disorders and they suggested the MBT dress shoes and sandals. I purchased one pair of nice looking dress shoes (they were expensive) and within weeks, much of the foot pain had subsided. I purchased more dress shoes and they were the only shoes I ever wore -- much less expensive than a podiatrist. Within a few weeks I was walking normally and had zero foot pain. Now in retirement, I wear MBT sandals and have several pairs -- I absolutely swear by them and recommend them to anyone if what I have written sounds familiar. I will not own any other brand. Note: they take a little getting used to . . . they are designed to have you walking correctly. Invest in them; give them a chance, you will be hooked.

carefully check the size before ordering
I wear a 38, which seems to sell out fast. This was my 2nd attempt to receive the right size, this time I received a 39. Not perfect, but I can get my foot into the shoe. This is like the model I bought in 2005 and is very comfy. Perfect for sciatica and correcting leg position.So my final word is, make sure you double check the EU size against the USA size and the UK size. They are all different and do not match each other.

sole material is full-stop high-friction; ankle clasps hard to open/close
Basically a great rocker-sandal, seems nicely-made. It replaces a worn-out "identical" pair but uses a snap-clasp instead of velcro for the ankle strap, which is hard to reach, see and operate.Unlike the predecessor, these soles are a very high-friction material, and where you put your foot down is EXACTLY where it stops! i am still trying to learn to not trip with them!

Lower B ack Pain Gone
So far (4 weeks) my lower back pain has gone. No cushioning. I had back pain with my squishy Hoka's & Teva's. Caveat - You will not get the full rolling action unless you "stride" rather than just walk. I am doing stretching exercises for my calf muscles so I can rotate my feet higher.

Second pair, to have a spare in a second location.Nice rocker bottom for long walks.Will buy third pair when the time comes in a few years.Recommended.

It's been 2 years and still going strong
Now that I am in the market for an additional ones, I thought to write a review on the ones I bought in July 2017. I live in the SW consequently I use the sandals a lot. They are excellent sandals very well built and most comfortable. It takes a little used to in the beginning because of the sole shape and the walking on the sand effect. It is perfect for my bad back. I do not use them in water and rarely on a sandy beach consequently I cannot evaluate them under these conditions. But on regular and constant use the sandals are very durable. I will be buying another one soon in a different color; so now I will have two of them.
