Fits nice side stitches make it easy and creates a cool pattern.
I found this easy to install and looked amazing on my 2006 dodge Dakota with a 15" steering wheel. While it seems the side stitching would be less professional then just the holes it actually looks better and the cool diagonal stitches that are created as you loop from the back to the front looks very designer. I stretched the leather around the wheel and it fit nice and tight. I started at the bottom at the seam and worked my way around going from back to front through the two loops and then pulling them tightly together with every stitch. I was worried I might tear the leather because I pulled so hard but it was very sturdy. As you work the third stitch back is tight the last one is slightly loose and the current one is loose just keep going pulling tight at each stitch no need to hold tight as the earlier loops stay tight. When you get to a spoke you loop it in the side stitches in the back until your past a spoke so you dont have to tie a knot. One knot at the beginning and one at the end and your done. It took me about an hour I stood outside the car to see the top and sat down when I did the bottom. some people use tape to keep the leather centered but I didn't just made sure it was centered as I went around. People are quite impressed with how nice it looks and feels.

Take your time, tilt wheel and extra light may help install. Looks great, feels good.
2004 Honda Pilot and this went well and looks great and wheel nice to grab again with a very snug no slip grip. Only needed the one spool of the line they give you, came with 2 spools and 2 needles. The line and needle are beefy and tough. I pulled rather firm and zero issues. Just threaded under the stitching on edge all the way around. (Think shoelace or such) Working around steering wheel spokes hardest part. Tilt wheel helps for extra room on back side near controls. Extra light also useful depending on viewing angle. Way better than those covers that just get saggy and look like -hit after a while. Is if factory new, no but is it way better than sun worn torn up grip I had, heck yes.

Perfect
First: I'm rather sceptical that this is "genuine" leather. Regardless, it's soft and pliable and feels great Second: Do not overthink the installation. The instructions that came with it might be helpful, but they're printed so small I couldn't read them. See the pictures in the product description and watch the videos in the reviews. IF YOU'RE STITCHING THROUGH THE LEATHER YOU'RE DOING IT WRONG! To install, all you're doing is looping from front stitch to back stitch. The hardest part is keeping the string tight as you move forward. If you don't it will be impossible to tighten up later. It's an easy process and once you get started you'll get in a rhythm and be done quicker than you would have imagined. I installed mine in my 99 Chevy Tahoe and it took about 35 minutes. Best to do this when you have plenty of light. It was cloudy today, so that slowed me down slightly. Otherwise I'm very pleased with the final results and would definitely buy I this product again. UPDATE: Bought a second cover for my PT Cruiser, which is slightly more than 15", meaning I really had to take my time slowly stretching the cover to get it to fit. This time I bought the more sporty vented version. This one is definitely leather. I find the installation of these simple and can be done in about 30 minutes. Good lighting is key, so have a flashlight or other device ready for the hard to see parts of the job. Even in direct sunlight there will be issues. I'm very pleased with the final result.

Good product and looks nice, and actual leather.
Perfect for what I wanted, hint as a leather worker soak in water for about 2 min before stretching, makes for a tighter fit when dry. Company really scemet on the tread, could have used another foot for comfort.

Amazing steering wheel cover.
This DIY leather cover is super easy to install, fit and sew. I bought if for my used 2017 Prius with a leather and plastic interior. The original leatherette steering wheel cover had a small tear that quickly grew large and unsightly. I tried a leather tape that wraps and sticks using an adhesive backing but quickly saw it would look and feel awful. No way to apply it and have a finished look. Then I found this product, read the reviews and watched the videos. Works great! It requires Zero sewing skills. Watch the short video carefully. I only made one hole in the cover to start sewing and that's it. The rest of the "sewing" is wrapping the needle around the enmeshed leather stitching already sewn into the cover. Then tighten each pass and continue. When you reach the steering wheel where it attaches to the center, pull the leather tight to eliminate bulged and continue on the other side and keep "sewing." If you make a mistake, retrace your steps to reach your mistake, make the adjustment and continue again. I wasn't pleased with one section, not tight enough, I undid the section and paid a bit more attention and was pleased with the effort, look and feel. My steering wheel looks better than the original. The leather cover matches the interior super well. You get 2 needles, each needle has more than enough leather string attached to go around your steering wheel. Tip, when you tighten each "sewing" step, pull on the string to tighten to your preference. Do not pull using the needle. If the needle and leather string separate, use the other needle with attached string. I completed the job using just the one needle and attached leather string. I am very pleased with the result. It took me less than one hour. Easier than sewing clothes😂. The look and feel of the cover is great! Another tip, I made a few knots along the steering wheel and the knots are not visible. You can push a knot inside the space between the cover and steering wheel, go back one step and sew over the knot. I placed the knots on the back side of the steering wheel at the junction where the wheel connects to to column.

This is a superior product. I ordered cheaper £10-15 similar product and they were all felt cheap to the touch. This was £24 but worth the money. The only thing is that it will take sometime and patience to install it, which I didnt mind. It was good on my subaru outback 2016.
