BurgeonNest Dog Car Seat for Small Dogs & Cats Under 25 lbs, Blue

This bed is perfect for my 14 pound Pomeranian. It is large enough for him to lie in comfortably: he is long for a Pom. I have it positioned in the passenger side of the mid row seats of my Toyota Highlander. He is able to look out the side window and enjoy the view by resting his front paws on the arm rest. The only con is that the clip on leash slides and does not set to a certain length. The cushions for all parts of the bed are very thick and seem to be comfortable to Beaux as witnessed by his falling asleep after his happy smile earlier. Installment was easy with placing the straps over the headrest and then pulling the seat belt through the loops provided on the lower back of the bed. I did not use the pockets on the sides of the bed but could see using them for the flat type of food bowl or water bowl that I have for him. We were not on a long trip so I did not need to pack those this time.

this seat is really handy. my dog is abt 12 lbs, and loves snuggling into soft spaces, so she loved this. she also has a more structured bucket booster car seat that is great for other reasons, but it’s not nearly as soft and cozy. more detail below (for those who want it). photos added to show color and size relative to a small dog. disclaimer/context for my comments - i use this in the front passenger seat of my car, and have never used it in the back seat. i’ve only had this during the fall/winter so far, so warm weather isn’t an issue pros: - one hundred percent more relaxing for my dog than riding on anything that’s not secured - leash/tether works perfectly to secure in her harness and the length adjusts easily - goes in the wash machine! - easy to take in and out of the car - takes up less space if it needs to move out of the way (i can jam it in front of the feet of someone in the passenger seat in a pinch, which i definitely can’t do with the bucket seat) - travels well - works perfectly as a dog bed outside the car, so pretty much dual-purpose - i like the colors a lot (i have the blue/whitish version, which is definitely more navy than bright blue) - the pockets on the side were useful for me. i’m constantly dropping credit cards, keys, and pretty much every small thing between the console and the side of my seat. when the dog car seat is next to me, i toss this stuff in the pocket sometimes and have saved myself fishing expeditions later 🙂. the outside pocket is great for leash, bags, etc - SUPER secure and doesn’t move when it’s locked in with the straps - fits in any seat, as it doesn’t need to lie completely flat all the way across to work well (again, unlike the structured, bucket/booster seats) - did i mention cozy? cons: - i don't love the look of the straps across the seat - for aesthetic reasons and because i am weird abt leaving indents in my seats (even temporarily), i prefer using a seatbelt to secure a dog car seat/bed. overall, this definitely shouldn’t deter a buyer who is interested. the dog loves this!

While both my dogs hate going to the vet, they each settled down great in this comfy car seat - a real plus while transporting them after dental surgery for one and spay surgery for the other. My chihuahua poodle cross hated his last car seat (which honestly had hardly any padding at all) but he loves this one so much that I bring it into the house when it's not in use for his napping pleasure. It fastens in the car easily and the leash feature works well with a harness to keep my guys safe and secure while still giving enough leeway to change positions on longer trips. Although I thought it was a little on the expensive side at first, this turned out to be a great purchase. So far I haven't had to transport both dogs at the same time, but I may buy another BurgeonNest seat just in case I ever have to.

The tether line is too long for small dogs. It is easy to strap onto the car seat for stability. I do wish the sides were taller. The cushions are soft and comfortable.

Sturdy and comfortable. This was a perfect size upgrade for my pup who is now full grown at 20” long and weighs 19 lbs. The pillow inserts come separately in a vacuum seal bag, which was easy and fast to expand and place in zipper compartments, which will make it easy when time to clean. I like the head rest height on this one, my Maggie looks comfortable. I also like the pockets to hold bones/toys

This is the third seat I’ve had for my dog. She weighs 4 pounds and she does not like car rides. The others were cardboard or flimsy or not the right fit for her. This one is literally like a padded cell around her and I’m hoping it works better than the others I’ve tried. I can also bring it into the house and let her sit in it like a little bed during the day for her to get used to it. We’ve had a couple of local rides in it and she’s OK but we’re getting ready to go on a 15 hour road trip. I hope it works.

This dog car seat is amazing for small dogs! It’s soft, comfortable, and keeps my pup feeling safe during car rides. The material feels high quality, and it was very easy to install in the car. I also love that it doubles as a carrier, making travel so much easier. My dog settled right into it and absolutely loves it!

must have for your dog! I haven’t gotten to use in my car yet and he loves laying in already! My little boy is 17Ibs he is a older dog with CHF so I’m always looking for ways to improve his comfort and make things more enjoyable for him. I didn’t use the instructions, It was easy to figure out just wasn’t expecting to have assemble everything lol. If you don’t use it for your car it still makes a comfortable dog bed

Perfect for my growing puppy. Love the soft sides as he likes to hang his head over the side of the car seat. He was lying in it sleeping within 5 mins of me putting the stuffing in. Really easy to put together which means it will be easy to wash when needed.
