Great Diapers
I recently bought Andy Pandy diapers after reading hundreds of reviews on all major (and minor) "natural" brands. The reviews seemed to speak to me the most based on my 5 month old. I have rotated my little D through washables, Luvs, Pampers, & Huggies. Although the washables are the most gentle, they are constantly leaking through or out the sides, not to mention as a working mom it is difficult to find the extra time to wash. The other three brands have chapped & chaffed her legs & bottom to the point that I knew I needed to make a change. Immediately after starting on the Andy Pandys I began to see the chapped line in the crease of her legs disappear (I'm talking within the first two days). Within a week, the chapped rash between her cheeks began fading. They are super absorbent and so far I haven't had any leaks or blow-outs. On vacation, I recently ran out and picked up some Honest diapers, wipes, and healing balm at Whole Foods. The Honest diapers are gentle on the bottom, but I had 2 major leaks and 1 blow-out during the nights. I ended up really liking the Honest wipes & healing balm - I've stopped using a diaper cream all together at this point (I was using Earth's Best). My D is about 15 lbs. and the Mediums fit perfectly. They are soft and I love the wetness indicator. I ordered 3 more packs of these so I wouldn't run out again. So far best combination for us is Andy Pandy diapers, Honest Wipes, Honest Healing Balm. I am currently applying the healing balm at every diaper change, but my hope is to eventually not use it so much if possible. Extremely pleased after the first two weeks.

Best diapers we have used!
I tried these diapers because I was looking for a more environmentally friendly disposable diaper to supplement our cloth diapers. We have used the Kirkland brand up until now because, well theyโre simply the best in terms of absorbency, cost/value, and preventing rashes, but definitely not environmentally friendly and thatโs been killing me on the inside. After tons of reasearch we tried these and I have to say Iโm beyond impressed! At first I wasnโt sure because although we ordered the same size as the kirkland brand, the fit was quite a bit bigger. However I noticed the absorbency was even better than the other brand, and when we ran out suddenly and had to restock urgently with the Kirkland diapers, it really hit me how superior these diapers really are. Theyโre so soft, Uber absorbent, and no dyes or perfumes. Our son can wear each diaper longer meaning fewer diapers per day going to the landfill and without any rashes! Furthermore, the companyโs claim that the diapers are biodegradable and that they are an environmentally friendly company alleviates my guilt for using disposable diapers when the cloth just doesnโt cut it. Even though theyโre more expensive, because we get more use out of each diaper and the fact that they are biodegradable I have no problem at all paying a little more for these. They are so worth it!

We simply love these diapers
I never really write reviews, but I felt that this one was worth it. We simply love these diapers. I had gotten diapers from various brands for my baby shower and used them for the first few months of my daughter's life. To me, Huggies and Pampers were just fine. My daughter had a weird skin reaction to Seventh Generation, so I gave those away. Being a first time mom, I knew babies got rashes and I was prepared with the creams and everything. In her first few months of life she got a few rashes, had a few blow-outs, etc. Honestly, just what we expected. I really wanted to be the type of person who uses cloth diapers, but I am just not. Trying to environmentally conscious, Andy Pandy was the next best thing. It took me a little while to notice it, but since switching to exclusively wearing Andy Pandy, my daughter has not had one rash. ZERO. Not even a little bit red. This is pretty incredible to me considering she has spent the past 4 months sleeping 11 hours at night. Because I always like pros and cons when I read reviews, here are mine: PROS: They are very soft and biodegradable. NO RASHES! They have the yellow to blue indicator line. They work very well and can hold an entire night's worth of pee. Thick band in the back almost always catches would-be blowouts. Strong Velcro. They don't leave marks on baby. No weird chemically smell. CONS: After those very long stretches, the outside of the diaper does seem to absorb some of the moisture and does feel vaguely moist (not wet) to the touch (this doesn't bother me). The sizes are weird. The NB size is more like a standard size 1. My 16 pound baby has been in size M since she hit around 15 pounds. Other notes: They are shaped differently than most other brands. It was a little weird putting them on at first, but now we are pros. We have also had a few blow-outs with these. I would guess less than we would have with one of the big brands, but it has happened a few times in her 6 months of life. I recommend these to all my friends, so I figured I should do so here (especially since I read reviews ALL the time).

Love!!
I love my Andy Pandys!! I currently have a 2 year old in the XL and a 1 month old and have been using these from the very beginning with my first child. When I had my daughter I went straight for the Andy pandys. My children have NEVER had any skin issues or any diaper rash, and I really thank these diapers for that. They donโt peel off the baby or stick to their skin like the other store bought diapers do. The only other bamboo diapers I have tried were bamboo nature and I like these the most. So much that I feel no need to look for others. Iโve never tried honest diapers and sometimes I think it would be nice to have designs on the diapers but that desire never supersedes the act of buying these diapers over others. I love them, my kids love them and their skin loves them! ALSO I think Mother Earth loves them and they donate to St Judes hospital. Like come on, itโs a pretty amazing product. The only criticism I have is that the newborn sizes are a little large for newborns but they will grow right on into them. I have intermittently bought traditional diapers bc I run out time to time and I have to admit I love the way Pampers smell but the others do not work. Andy Pandys do NOT leak, they hold so much urine and stool it is impressive! The absorbency of these are incredible. I read a review a while back saying they leak but they absolutely do not leak! I swear, every other Iโve tried diaper does. You canโt go wrong with these! They are eco friendly, high absorbency, dry against babyโs skin, an overnighter +extra hours!! I canโt tell you have much I love and rely on these diapers.

Love these diapers, they do run large though.
These diapers give new meaning to premium diapers. I love them. They are soft and lovely and very absorbant. I really want to stick with these. These have held in my son's daily blowouts that no other diaper has been able to. Partly though it's due to my one complaint - they run large. I was either going to size up in "standard" sized diapers from a 3 to a 4, or buy these in a medium. My son is around 16lbs, so well into the 13-22lb range for Medium, and at the bottom of the 16-28lb range for size 3, so I was worried size 4 would be way too big and I bought these. I do love them. They are high quality, soft, sturdy, they look nice and fit okay. But I am not getting pee leaks around the legs because they are just too big around the legs. I guess not every diaper fits every baby, but my son is pretty "standard" sized, not a skinny legged child by any stretch. AND, as evidence to the point that they run big, they fit my 28lb almost 3 year old beautifully. Not sure how they will hold up, but I was sure they would be too small for her, but we were running short on pull ups so I tried one and it fit great. I'm not sure if I need a small for my infant, because they are containing the blowouts great, and only leaking pee on occasion - I can handle pee leaks much better than blowouts! I do love these diapers though, and I've tried almost all the diapers out there.

The only diaper we will ever use!
I can not say enough good things about these diapers! I talk them up non-stop in my online mom groups. I originally wanted to cloth diaper my son but due to not having a washer and dryer in our apartment unit, I had to use disposables. I wanted to find the best diaper in terms of Eco-friendliness and lack of harsh chemicals in the diaper liner. And this led me to Andy Pandy. These diapers are sooo soft and have a satiny feel to them. Their absorbency is excellent; my 4 mo old sleeps thru the night in them w no leaks. We've had 1 or 2 leaked poopy diapers but NO diaper would have been able to contain those poop explosions! As far as the lack of funky chemicals in Andy Pandy diapers, I think the fact that my son has NEVER had diaper rash and we never use anything on his bottom (no cream, ointment, powders, etc) speaks for itself. The wetness indicator that runs from front to back is super convenient. And extra points to the Andy Pandy company for donating a portion of their proceeds to St. Jude's hospital. The only thing to be wary of is their size; these diapers run a bit big. I bought the newborn size and wanted to use them right away but they did not fit our son. He was born 7lbs 3oz, so he wasn't a tiny baby, but we had to wait until he was almost 9 lbs for the NB size to fit him properly. If you're looking for an diaper that's Eco-friendly, soft, absorbent and won't irritate your babies delicate skin, THIS is your diaper!

Awesome Choice
We cloth diaper most of the time. For overnight and when we are out and about with only public toilets available to rinse out poops in out cloth diapers, we use disposables. I did a lot of research to find the safest diaper for our daughter. Andy Pandy was our top choice. The ingredients are good for disposables (nothing will beat cloth) and they are so soft and absorbent. They can be a little pricey though. With that in mind I noticed Nest brand diapers at our local Meijer and decided to give them a try. They were soft, thicker than most disposable diapers (signalling a lower amount of SAP chemicals and a higher amount of natural absorbers such a wood pulp), had no odor and were a great price. We were hooked. On our last trip to purchase diapers I noticed the packaging was different. Upon arriving home and opening the pack I noticed the diapers themselves have also changed. They are no longer soft, thick or odor free. They are hard, thin, narrow and smell like chemicals. These diapers are comparable to pampers or Huggies now. I am so disappointed. I used two diapers on my daughter. The first one leaked and the second left her with a rash. They are not the bamboo soft, wood pulp filled diapers they once were. But guess what, Andy Pandys are still awesome and have gotten our business back!

Former fan, now maybe not so much.
Updated review 3/20/2015: Had to take away a couple of stars, for a few reasons. The first (and probably biggest) reason is that the diapers keep going out of stock on Amazon, which is the only place they are available for purchase. It is pretty freakin' inconvenient to go to buy your regular brand of diapers, only to find out that they are not in stock and there is no ETA. The last time this happened, it took weeks before we could get more, and they are currently out of stock again. I posted to Andy Pandy's Facebook page asking when they would be available and didn't get a response. In fact, I just went to go look and it appears that they had time to delete my post (?!), but no time to respond to it. Serious customer service fail. Also, my son has been soaking through diapers at night. This never used to happen; maybe because I switched him to formula he's taking in more? Either way, I now have to do a middle of the night diaper change or I will find the diaper soaked through and completely falling apart in the morning. So if you have a baby who has a lot of output at night and want something that he/she can sleep straight through in, you might keep looking. I've been using APs since my little guy was born, except when I was trying other brands during the times I couldn't get them because of stocking issues. I'm going to start looking around again...who knows, maybe I'll come back to AP again and maybe not. I still like their attention to safety and dedication to being eco-friendly, but for now, I'm going to give Honest Company another shot and see how it goes. Don't have much of a choice in the matter since these diapers aren't available for purchase anyhow. Not to mention that I'm even more motivated to find a different diaper brand that works for us after AP couldn't be bothered to answer my perfectly friendly inquiry about when I could buy some of their diapers. At their price point, I expect a lot more. That's a pretty good way to lose a loyal customer. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I didn't fully appreciate how good these diapers are until they were out of stock for a few weeks. Call me a hippie, but I'm just not comfortable with using traditional diapers (Pampers, Huggies, etc), because of the chlorine and other chemicals as well as environmental concerns. After reading a lot of reviews on eco diaper brands, Andy Pandys are what I stocked the nursery with before my baby was born, and I got so spoiled without even realizing it. These diapers are so soft, so absorbent and have a very sensitive wetness indicator - it will turn blue enough to see through a white onesie if the baby is even a little bit wet. I also like that there are no "cute" designs - and therefore no dyes to irritate my baby's skin. When they were out of stock, I tried several other brands - Earth's Best, Honest Company, Babyganics, and Abena Bambo. None of them came close. I can leave my baby in an Andy Pandy overnight without waking him up for diaper changes - with a thick layer of diaper cream, his skin never gets irritated and we never have leaks. The material seems to do a really good job of wicking moisture away from his skin - even with a somewhat heavy diaper, if you touch the inside (gross, but whatever), it still feels dry. Not so with the other brands I tried - even with just a medium wet diaper, you could see moisture left behind on his skin. I will say that every now and again I'll get a diaper on which one of the tabs will pull completely off when I go to wrap the diaper up and throw it in the trash. Not a big deal for us so far, but I can see how it might be more of a problem once he's up and walking around. I'll update if necessary, but so far, so good. Yes, these diapers are at the top of the price range, but to me, it's worth it. After they showed back up on Amazon, I stocked up so I don't run out again. Middle of the night diaper changes = tired baby = cranky baby, and when baby ain't happy, ain't nobody happy. Also, they are a family-run business and they donate a portion of each sale to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. I won't be switching brands anytime soon.

Great diaper.
Great diapers. Love the simple look. Soft, very breathable with strong snaps. No leeks. Works good also overnight. My experience is based on 7 month old baby who has started solids and drinks 150ml in the middle of the night.

Amazingly soft diapers! These are the best!
I wish I found these diapers 2 years ago when my 1st son was born!! These diapers are so soft, great fit (accurate sizing) and very durable. My 10 month old sleeps through the night in these without any leaks. I will be a loyal customer of this brand and recommend them to my mommy friends!

These are amazing diapers, they are extremely soft, absorbant and I feel much better that they are organic and biodegradable and made out of bamboo.

I can't get over these nappies. We tried them ...
I can't get over these nappies. We tried them on the advice of our GP who said to try hypoallergenic nappies (our daughter just couldn't shift what had started as a fungal infection). Within a day it was starting to clear. The nappies are so soft and never leave skin clammy. They're extremely absorbent without getting bulky. I'm never going back to Pampers again

great!!
great!!! however since my baby sleep on its tummy through the night, when it wakes up in the morning, only the front side is wet and the back portion of the diaper is completely dry! womdering if I should have taken a smaller size??!! But how is one to risk the price of the diaper and buy a big pack and hope that the size would be appropriate?!
