Really helpful book

There’s a lot of book which say a whole lot of nothing with no context or useful tips. Can honestly say I’m reading this book a second time and it’s such a good read and I must say I’m not a usual reader! Christabel is so inspiring and is realistic which I love. If you’re ever stuck in a career rut or need some advice then I highly recommend you get this book, you wont regret it :)

As far as I'm aware, this is the only book of it's kind - the definitive how-to guide for becoming a fashion makeup artist. It's written by a highly-respected, experienced artist who is not just successful, but who has 'been there, done that' and worked for the biggest fashion and beauty publications and names in the world. It has everything you need to know to set yourself up as a make-up artist - from getting started, to the tools of the trade, to marketing yourself and building a client base and portfolio - it's just so comprehensive. And it's beautifully written. It's a genuine insider's guide - I think someone following the author's steps would have an excellent chance of becoming really very well established. It's perfect for anyone starting out or someone who has some skills and wants all the inside knowledge. I highly recommend this excellent book.
