Etc, to fight the inflammation that so many people like I myself have. These dried blueberries are organic, non-GMO's, and ads a sweetness tastier than granulated suger. My bowls of cereal, with these, Goji Berries, raisins, dried cranberries and I even add plant based protein, pecans, walnuts and others. Try it YOU'LL LOVE IT. OH, LIFE MAKES CEREAL NOW FOR BONE HEA LTH, AND IMMUNE SYSTEM, I COULDN'T ASK FOR MORE, well I could if it wasn't so filing and satisfying...

Good quality
Very tasty but sometimes you get some tough ones. I have purchased several times from here and other places and they are all about the same.

Spare yourself.
Don't do it! I know the price is tempting. "They can't be THAT bad", you're saying to yourself. Well they can. They're a waste of money. These are a much darker color than regular dried mangoes, and taste....different. Just order the Phillippine mangoes so you don't hate your life later. I'm slowly choking these down at the office because I feel like I can't throw away 13 dollars of mangoes. I think I've managed to get 5 pieces down in 24 hours, and I'm known for eating pounds of dried mangoes over a weekend. This includes the partial one I threw out because I couldn't chew it very well. Maybe the Yellow#5 is what makes it look so abnormal.UPDATE: Day four of the mango bag sitting at my desk.I feel like I have to eat these because I paid for them, and I am very poor. I am slowly adjusting to their strange color that makes them look like chunks of raw fish. I realized part of what throws me is the strange scent that hits your nose right as you're about to take a bite. Something...not mango scented. When you bite into it, the scent hits you, then the sugar hits you, right as you mentally remind yourself you aren't eating raw fish to try to convince yourself to continue biting and chewing. I think I have choked down ten pieces so far. I don't have any weird growth abnormalities or stomach illness as of yet. I will keep you updated.UPDATE: Day 8 of the mangoes sitting on my desk.I haven't touched them for days. How can I throw away the majority of such a large expensive bag of fruit? Or worse yet, put it on the counter in the break room and let my co-workers suffer? Maybe some of them it wouldn't bother me if they experienced these mangoes, but at least a few of them are good hard-working people who deserve better. The trash? The counter? Let them mold on my desk? I don't know what to do! I can't take one more bite. It is simply impossible. I feel like I'd rather starve than smell their smell and crunch into their texture. Goodbye mangoes. I have remembered that we have a compost bin, and that seems like the best route for this relationship to end.Caption: Note the unnatural BRIGHT coloring.

Tasty goodness
I looked for dried pineapple after reading that pineapple can reduce joint swelling. I found that eating as much as will fit into a 3-ounce cup each day helps my knee. I also found that I have to store this stuff in the far side of the house to stop myself from eating it all day.

Doesn't Taste Like Mango
The package is large and has a ziplock at the top. The contents of the bag are a darker orange than the image used on Amazon.com. The package says dried mango. The ingredients: mango, sugar, FD&C yellow #5, sulphur dioxide. It claims to be a product of Thailand. When I open the bag there is an aroma that does not hint of mango. At first it is neither pleasant nor unpleasant, but with time the aroma leans towards unpleasant. The product looks like dried mango despite the artificial color. It tastes like dried mango I've had in some other dried fruit mixes where I wasn't sure if what I was eating was mango, Some may like the taste but it does not taste like mango so is a disappointment to me. I bought 10 pounds so I hope someone in the family likes it... It is nothing like the delicious dried mango produced in the Philippines and packaged for "Daily Chef".I do not understand why the aroma is unpleasant. The ingredients are simple and the preservative used is common in dried fruit. Could the coloring used affect both the aroma and taste of the fruit? Why use coloring in the first place when the natural color of dried mango is inviting enough? Could the unpleasant aroma come from the bag that it is packaged in? I don't know.Despite the very competitive pricing on this product, I would suggest you steer clear of it. Better to stick with a dried mango product you already know and enjoy, even if you have to pay much more... you can eat less of it to compensate :). Mango is a very delicious fruit eaten fresh, and should be delicious when eaten dried. This product doesn't taste like mango to me. It is a crime to take such a delicious fruit and turn it into something that isn't enjoyable to eat. Look elsewhere for your dried mango product.Addendum (Apr 2015): One person out of six in our family likes this product so I'm now on my fifth 5 pound bag. It's a good price if someone will eat it so as long as that one person keeps eating the stuff, I'll keep buying it. The other five of us don't care for it. Because one out of six of us likes it, I changed my rating from 2 stars to 3 stars.
