Ehhhhh.............was really hoping it would hold my spindle tools for wood turning since they are not heavy but these tiny magnetic strips are undersized. I really though they were bigger strips for sure. I was able however to salvage the purchase with using this to hold other essential lightweight items.If you have tools from 1/2 lb. to maybe a tad more I really don't think this will hold. I certainly miss the magnetic tool holders similar to this I bought at Lowes years ago for holding tools which they do not make anymore!!!!! It would hold a car almost it had such a strong magnet in it.But none the less I was able to free up a drawer in my work table where my lathe rests on to free up space. I will continue to look for the strong magnetic bars however that will hold a few pounds easily. So 3 stars because it really does not hold the weight I had believed it would. But for form and finish it looks great.

Mounted two of these in drywall in the garage to hold screwdrivers and wrenches. Magnets are good. I ended up craking one of the plastic mounting brackets on the install. It was probably my fault, but it did break. I ended up just gobbing a bunch of shoe goo on it and relying on that for the hold. Works well.

Bought for a gift so I can't give it star ratings.

Installation not easy for me.

Love it, it works great, I have it on the back of the pantry door. So, you know it's strong because it hasn't lost a knife with the door being opened and closed all day long.. Don't know how I ever lived without it.

Love these knife holders frees up counter space. GREAT quality

This is worth its weight in gold. No more knives in the drawer waiting on my inocent fingers.
