I uh, used the product for displaying engine rotational speed.... right? It has other abilities which are good backups to what your vehicle may already have. Getting the tachometer sense input has been a challenge as the most common sensors do not fit or work in my vehicle. I have seen I can sense RPM off the alternator directly though, and rather easily. Getting the gauge's "scaling" correct between a given engine and the range of the meters, not so simple. THere's no clear description of how to do this that I can find, although this kind of thing is pretty simple to overcome with voltage dividers and trim pots. The GPS "speed" and trip odometer is well liked. The lack of remote mode AND set buttons is a bummer.

I got my gps speedo very fast. It was easy yo hook up and use. Although the instructions were not the greatest I was still able to hook it up correctly fuel oil pressure temperature voltage I noticed right off the bat the fuel was backwards after doing the programming the fuel never changed it has always read backwards after a few weeks I noticed the speed display on the speedometer self would start just counting from 0 to 100 and then would shut off turn back on and count again sometimes it would work properly after I counted two or three times then it would start to count and then read an error code and now has turned off altogether and will not turn back on the seller told me that they did not sell me this item that Amazon did but I have to take it up with them they will not refund or exchange my product

This gauge lasted about 3 months on my boat that was stored under a carport before it got condensation inside and is no longer legible. All you can see is moisture stuck to the backside of the gauge face and that the screen is on behind it but there is so much moisture you cannot make out what the gauge is reading. Needs to be made in better conditions and sealed. I would not recommend this gauge, the instructions were not correct for the tachometer reading but with another tach on hand I was able to adjust the options to get it close. Great idea but for what it costs it should last much longer without getting all fogged up.

Seller stood behind the product and issued a full refund. I bought 2 of these for my boat. These would not be bright enough to view in sunlight. The tachometer was way off and inconsistent even after adjusting it to my engines. The temperature and pressure we’re not in US formats. I think this will be great once reformatted and improved development. Like I said the seller did on her extended return policy and I would have no problem buying from the seller once again in the future.
