Uni Mechanical Pencil Lead, 2.0mm for Field, 2H (U202101P2H)

I am ruined on pencil lead now. Uni's stuff, from 4H to 8B is all so glassy smooth, it makes everything else feel like writing with sandpaper (apart from Staedler, which is only a hair lower quality and better value, so if money is a concern, go Staedler)2H is one of my two go-to's (the other being 2B) because I like that it can be laid down lightly and erased easily, since the majority of my pencil use is sketching out before inking over. But for pencil drawing, I like 2B. It amazes me just how smooth 2H can be. I was always happy with Staedler (and still am, but this is just a step above that) but when I got my first pack of uni, it was clear that this is perfect. I straight up threw away my koh i noor.2H is a good hardness for people who want the point to last longer, be more easily erased, not smudge as much, and don't mind the line being fainter but still readable (4H and up starts to get into the territory of "I'm reading the line the lead scratched into the paper more than the graphite itself" - up to 8h which is mostly just used as a tool for murdering people by stabbing I can only assume)It will also show up on scan trons just fine. Doesn't need to be specifically HB anymore. I wouldn't use anything harder than 2H, but 2H-8B will all work fine.If you want to try lead holders, do yourself a favor and order some Uni lead for it at the same time. You won't regret it.

2.0 mm graphite refills are my favorite art supply. No kidding. This brand's graphite refills are smooth, consistent in quality and tone, and an added bonus is a well-designed case that protects them from breakage without adding a lot of bulk to my art box.

The media could not be loaded. Great product, although it was not protected during shipping, and each lead came in at least four pieces (instead of one usable piece). I Attached a video that shows how the leads arrived in crumbles, unusable.

The media could not be loaded. The value of the money is good, the durability of the lead graphite is excellent to work with. I enjoy working with this graphite 2H pencil lead as it can shade in and draw the object with ease.
