I so wanted to love these. The patterns were bright and pretty. Unfortunately, the dye smell was very strong. I tried hand washing 1 in cold water with a gentle soap that I use to wash my rayon haram pants. Oh my goodness, the color ran all over the place. And once dry still smelled. If the smell does not bother you or yours do not smell , I would still recommend washing theses before wearing so you do not wind up with dye running down your face or dying your forehead if you sweat or get caught in the rain.

I have two of these that I purchased four years ago on a vacation overseas, and I've used them every day to tie my hair back when washing my face, putting on makeup, cooking, doing some kind of strenuous task, or rinsing off in the shower without washing my hair. Mine were getting a little threadbare after all that use, so I was glad to find them on Amazon at a great price. My hat size is 6 7/8, and these fit with plenty of room to spare. Love the colors and patterns. There were 5 patterns, and two of each. I'm very pleased with this purchase!

Now that covid19 has forced us to ware mask at work it’s been quite difficult finding the right fit. This is my second order of hair bands . I bought the first set for my hair and realized they make a good breathable mask. I put it over my nose and cheek then put my safety glasses on and they stay on for a good while. But I can easily remove it, let it hang on my neck when I am not talking with a co worker or more than six feet apart. Also mask at work have become the new fashion statement and lets face it these hair bands have flair.

They're ok... They fit a little small/tight.
