Excellent product. Worked out well for my FYI project.

Used this kit to build out some wires. First time using the boots, very happy. If your wire is right on the edge of it fitting, the key is a jiggle. instead of spending on hour trying to push it as straight as humanly possible, as soon as you have both ends in the Y, rapidly move it in 1mm, out 1/2mm, in 1mm ect. the last side took about 5 minutes heat shrink, banana plugs and all.

Overall, the boots are still a little tight, I used fishing string to pull the wires through, worked like a charm. Once the cables are built though these are the perfect size for normal size speaker wire. The shrink tube worked as expected with a heat gun. Cables came out great with white pvc sleeve and plugs.

I put in my dream system with Marantz amp and Bowers and Wilkens floor speakers. I wanted my wires to look great, even if you didn't see them. So I used there wire pants and shrink wrap to provide that audiophile look. Add in good 14 gauge wire, white wire braid, and good banana plugs and I achieved by look. On the plus side the wires do look great. The wire pants are made with a pretty stiff rubbery material that don't quite sit comfortable with a bend (needed when you have a straight back connection like on the back of speakers and receivers) and the wire needs to drop straight down. It's a relatively minor gripe. I did spend an hour working out the best combination of wire pants, braid, shrink wrap and plugs to get the most professional look. It took a few tries to also work out the best wire lengths, particularly with the split in the right and left tubes. But I figured out my best option and built a total of three wires (right, center, & left), plus four more the height and rear surround wires. I used a wire cutter, wire stripper, a heat gun for the shrink wrap and a screwdriver to assemble the connections. I thought about tinning/soldering the exposed wire ends but found that the loose wire strands spread nicely inside the banana plugs to ensure maximum contact (and prevent them ripping out).

Clean look when done right dont put heat shrink over em looks tacky use loom and tuck it inside

Did exactly what I needed even though 14g wire is almost impossible to put it in the Y ends.

Misleading… The pants do not shrink.

Overall was pretty good. My only gripe was fitting the speaker wire inside the speaker pants. What helped was putting a bit of purell or dish soap on the insulation part of the speaker wire so there wasnt so much friction. I used the Amazonbasics 14gauge OFC wire with insulation jacket and that fit perfectly.

This took 6 days from USA to UK so a good start. I used the pants with Amazon Basics Speaker Wire - 14-Gauge, 99.9% Oxygen-Free Copper. It fits perfectly. The look very professional.

Maybe a bit niche, but fyi for anyone else these fit perfectly over the Amazon Basics 14ga speaker wire with the outer sleeve.
