The castle is pretty big for cats. An adult person can easily sit inside. Mine is for my son, but my cats play in it as well. They usually knock it over. The castle will collapse if a cat tries to climb up it or sit on top. It is a tent. It is flexible and bouncy but not strong.

Q: how do i make the tent stand up

Use the metal 'frame' pieces that came with it. They go in the inside of the tent. There are yellow ties to hold it in place and 4 black insert spots at the highest peak and 4 small little inserts at the base of the tent. Hopefully this makes sense. I can try to add pictures tomorrow :-)

Q: The description states it can be used indoor or outdoor. Is it sturdy enough to be kept outdoors? We have limited space in our house.

I wouldn't keep it outdoors. It's made of plastic, so you could take it outside and then rinse it off if need be. Still thin material, though, so I'd worry about weather and tears if kept outdoors. It's easy enough to put together/take down.

Q: Where is this manufactured? Do the instructions day anything about fire retardant fabric?

I'm sorry as I don't know. But the tent didn't last very long at all. The stitching has already torn where the vertical polls are inserted around the sides.
