It works!
My one dog has severe car anxiety and it has only gotten worse over this summer for some reason. Last week he was shaking and panting so bad I thought he might have a heart attack. So I did some research and bought this stuff with low expectations. I used it this weekend before the same 2 hour car ride we did last week to our cabin. AND HOLY COW WHAT A DIFFERENCE! He seemed SO much more calm and comfortable. He hardly was shaking and his panting was so much more manageable- I actually could hear the music that was playing which usually does not happen. I have included a picture of him from the car ride. I have NEVER taken a picture of him looking so happy in a car before!

Best dog Anxiety Relief
This works really well, but I can't give him the full dosage as it said on the bottle, it stated to give him three a day, but when I gave him two he was really tired and went to sleep, so now I give him 1 and 1/2 before bedtime and it helps him relax but it does not knock him out. My dog is 117 lbs. so 1 and 1/2 works perfectly

I think it works ! I have a mini schnauzer who is such a joy when it's just her and me at home... but woe to the times when someone comes to the door, or *gasp* actually enters the house. She's a mess. It seems like an anxiety reaction as well as being territorial and protective, but in a way that makes me wonder if she's got anxiety to the point of being miserable. I have given her a couple of doses of this when I knew someone was coming to do contract work in the house, and she does seem less upset. No problems or side effects that I've noticed (I've been an RN since 1985, and always am leery of first doses of meds).

When used with other things it actually works for thunderstorms!!!!
Update: I did some on-line research and using the Calm-Aid WITH white noise provided by fans along with music my big boy slept right through a thunderstorm. Another factor was having an idea when the thunderstorm might be arriving and giving him a dose an hour before it started vice some recommendations of 1/2 hour like I was doing before. So I am completely sold on this product. Anything that helps him weather the anxiety of our summer thunderstorms is fantastic. So if you are purchasing this for thunderstorm anxiety you will probably need to do some other things to help your furbie cope. This by itself isn't the answer. Another big test will be when we have the big night time storms.Old review: This worked for minor stressors for my dog; however, it didn't even faze him when our 1st thunderstorm for the season rolled through the area. I'll keep using it in the hopes that its a matter of timing on the dose.

We do not know if his anxiety automatically stopped or this tablets are really helping. During the day he has his small anxiety attacks but not like before. I can now sleep at nights - for 2 months he was waking the whole household at 2-3 in the morning. The vet prescribed Prozac for doggies but I told my fiancé that I did not want to put him on these hard core meds. For one when we got his lab results - the vet said that his liver was not breaking down the bad enzymes (sorry don't quite remember - my fiancé does but he is sleeping) Anyway I did my research and came across these tablets. Like I said, once we gave him these tablets we immediately began to see improvement. Sadly, we need to order but they are currently out of stock and the price has gone up. I need his calming pill so I will try a different brand and fingers cross that they too will be the same positive effect on my boy Ninja. But I really urge that you try these tablets and give it a few days/couple weeks in seeing improvements in your doggie instead of putting him on Prozac.

Loved these.
Just tried this on my golden when he was anxious and it worked great. They are chewable and he didn't mind eating them at all. I am very pleased about how quickly and well it settled my dog....the price was great too...very happy.

Our dog Zoey has had bad anxiety since she was a puppy. We purchased a ThunderShirt for her, which helps, but she can't wear it all the time. Once she started taking Calm-Aid the difference was obvious. She's even gaining some weight because she is finally eating and not always pacing nervously around the house. She's always had accidents in the house and those have stopped as well. She's terrified of our kitchen (the the point that when her food was in there she was starving herself because she wouldn't go in there to eat), but now she goes in there and even hangs out for a bit sometimes. It's only been about a month and a half and the results are more and more apparent. We cannot praise this product enough. Give it a try!

This product did calm my dog down, however it gave him horrible diarrhea for three days. If you have dogs with sensitive stomachs beware.
