All things considered - this technology is superior to valve technology.
Fantastic product!! Seriously, this is much more functional and practical than the actual Fender tube amps it's designed to emulate. It provides a much lower noise floor than the actual tube amps and consistently provides better tone across all volume levels than the actual amplifiers which typically must be set to high volume levels to achieve quality tone and response. This unit will take some getting used to if you are used to tube amps - the tone stack responds differently and in a more dramatic yet superior way. Also the gain setup requires thoughtful use of the limiter to most accurately replicate the response of actual tube circuits (to achieve various levels of breakup verses headroom and tube rectifier type sag). Once you spend time with the unit you will ultimately find it to be more versatile and superior to the real tube amps. I am not kidding - I am dead serious. This is a real bonified example of year 2025 tech in action - this is the way you do it now I am professionaly trained sound engineer and have been playing electric guitar for over 35 years through a wide variety of both tube and solid state amps. Pat Quilter (company owner) is a legend in the professional amplifier industry as a founder of the famed QSC Amplification corporation. The man is a true industry professional and engineer who plays guitar himself and has devoted a lifetime to perfecting his products to unparalleled levels. This product is a direct reflection of that. Give it a serious chance and spend some time with this unit plugged into a quality guitar cabinet and your desire for a real Fender amp with disappear. You won't care at that point about how ugly it looks and won't part with it.

The little amp that could
Thing sounds great. Nice variety from clean to overdrive. Doesn't go into face melt, but those guys have pedals for that. Going through a 12" cabinet with windows closed it can get way louder than advisable for my subdivision house. Next house is about 15 feet away. Has what I would describe as a lush reverb, definitely keep mine between 9 and 12. Haven't tested functionality of fx loop or pass thru. Solid build, quality hardware. Be aware of +/- polarity if using the aux power. Designed for pedal board power supplies, not cigarette lighter. Got that from the horses mouth, Mr Quilter himself. Thanks man.

Great tone good effects
Not much to dislike here sounds like a great amp though headphones. I wish it had more head room so I am concerned when I plug it into a mixer or speaker cabinet. Maybe update review afterwards

Excellent for your Helix, Fractal, Headrush, etc
So I got this because of a lone suggestion buried deep in a forum on the interwebs that this is perfect to run your multiffects processors into a cab. So glad I did! It gives you that “cab in the room “ sound. Incredible there are no tubes with this! I have a Headrush and a Fractal FM9. I run either of those through the quilter then on to a 4x12. It sounds to me every bit as good as a quality tube amp. But there’s less noise and less hassle, more flexibility with effects with this. Make sure to turn off your cab on the multieffects unit, and run the Quilter in FRFR mode. Also, the controls work very well to dial in the highs, mids and lows. It’s just incredible! I also have some monitor speakers that I’ll use when I’m not using the Quilter/ cab. Those have their purpose, but the quilter through a cab sounds better. I also bought a Seymore Duncan Powerstage 200, and while it did a good job, it didn’t sound like tubes like the Quilter.

Great tone, terrible reverb
I bought this to keep in my bag in case of amp emergency. I unplugged the speaker in my Boogie combo and ran it into the quilter I was able to dial in the tone very close to the clean on my Mesa Fillmore 25, and the quilter sounds just as good as a Fender tube amp. However, when I turned up the reverb knob, some crazy sounds started up. Sounded like radio waves, and I didn’t have anything nearby that could create any interference. No similar noises were present when using the Mesa. This was disappointing since the tone was otherwise excellent, and I returned it immediately.

Outstanding little amp, best imitation of tubes I've heard
It's hard to write a review about just how good this little amp is. All by itself, it does a wonderful job of a wide variety cleans and overdrives, with and without reverb. Takes pedal really well, as well, and with a few decent ones you can go anywhere from a variety of sparkly Fender cleans and crunch to the sound of a Marshall being stretched to it's limit, all at bedroom levels to well beyond. There's gotta be some tubes hidden in there somewhere. The only option this doesn't have that I would like to see, possibly in the future, would be a footswitch to change between the 3 amp choices (57, 61, and 65). My favorite clean is the 57 but when I switch on the overdrive(s) and/or fuzz I prefer the sound of the 61 or 65. Definitely not a complaint, just something to consider for the future. Thank You Mr. Quilter!!!

great value
This amp is becoming one of my favorites. i tried the UK version 1st but did not like the clean tone so well. This one has very good Fender cleans and overdrive but I still prefer the UK grind. The tone controls alone are worth the price. This is my gigging amp now as it has output to FOH and is so light. My fender 30 and boogie mark II don't get as many play dates now.
