Exact Replacement
Mine broke from simply hand tightening the blue water drain plug. This new unit isn't any stronger or better... It's the same. I have a 6.2L Mercruiser

Exactly what I needed
Bought this for my 282 cobalt twin 350. Came out of winter and one of these had a cracked at the bottom. Easy and good replacement, perfect fit!!!

It’s just a shell
It’s not a real housing. There is no mechanism for the plunger part. It’s just a plastic piece

well there is no cheap substitute for this part i looked everywhere. Its unbelievably expensive for what it is, But its an exact match so good enough!!
