Because I read a lot online about high numbers of bedbugs in hotels I took precautionary action by buying this to take with me but found they were very heavy ,too heavy to go in my suitcase.Didn't come across any bedbugs in the hotels I stayed in - which was good news!I gave five stars as that's the rating they had, it would be unfair to mark them down.

Bugs crawled right over trap.

Tried everything to get rid of multiple infestations- eventually was advised to dust cracks/ bed/ entry points / all over room with silica based dust (don’t breathe in when spraying) and also bought bed bud monitors for the slats - I added these catchers and filled them will a small amount of silica dust and eventually killed all bugs. Just to note, it’s a long process but - Eventually does get better - I would use the silica dust, it’s expensive but it works and regularly hoover and re apply (weekly). Also Hot wash often and use a mattress protector that zips so you know what is/isn’t in your mattress.Hope this helps!

You get 8 traps. The problem is, with 2 piece base, the traps will only fit 4 feet. The center feet, are too close together.Maybe, the manufacturer, should take this, into consideration. When producing these traps, in future. The 4 on the base, appear to do the job, in trapping the Bugs.
