The app also allows you to set up notifications and alerts, although I personally prefer just checking it manually whenever I want. Overall the signal is strong, the updates are reliable, and it does exactly what it is supposed to do. **Q: besides battery life, is there any other differences between 2.0 & 3.0?**
A: Just size. The 3.0 is a little taller and thicker than the 2.0 because of the bigger battery it uses. It has all the same great features.

**Q: Can I hook up a portable battery pack and keep recharging the battery pack, to get a longer battery life?**
A: We do not sell a portable battery pack for this device.  The battery was designed to last 1 month reporting at every 60 seconds.  You can set your device to report less frequently i.e. every 2 minutes, 3 minutes or even 10 minutes and you will get much more than 1 month before you need to recharge it.

**Q: Will this work outside the usa?**
A: It works in the USA and Canada only.

**Q: If using a debit/bank card to purchase subscription what does the charge come up as? Will it say tracking device subscription? Is it a dead giveaway?**
A: I forgot what it said, but my ex saw the charge and she thought it was a dating website. At any rate, use a different card because it would be easy to figure out what it is.

Durability: comes with very very powerful magnetic case that keeps it safe. Battery Life: much better than previous version Ease of use: download the app, paid for your monthly subscription, and I have a GPS tracker on my phone. Accuracy: this is very accurate, being able to be checked up to 5 - 10 seconds of perfection Price: none of these are as cheap as they should be with servcie.... He takes $20 a month for GPS only. You can get any smartphone, with a prepaid provider for $25 a month and get internet voice, data, and text. The fact that they are just using a SIM card for GPS makes $20 per month steep Versus the competition: I have always used to Tracki and I think this is a similar price with the subscription and advice, with very similar accuracy, destiny different platform and interface. It also has better battery life The prior version of Optimus is the best price for what you get, but the battery life is less and tracki he has more options. I simply looking for accuracy and price, not battery life, you don't this new version. However, has a one-time purchase I don't see why you wouldn't catch the one with the best battery life since tracking often poses a challenge when it comes to keeping it charged
