Q: Has anyone verified that this product has a 'real' UV light in it?

Short answer: Yes. UV-C test cards glow indicating UV-C light, and a petri dish test shows that it does kill bacteria. I've just posted a review (which should show up shortly) where I tested the authenticity of the UV-C light with a test card as well as the effectiveness of the sanitization. While the light is real and it kills bacteria, I was unable to show that it makes a difference on a toothbrush, likely due to the light not penetrating beyond the tips and outside of the bristles. I wouldn't rely solely on this to sanitize the brush, but it probably doesn't hurt.

Thank you for your question. Within one year from the date of purchase, if the product is a product of its own quality problems, the product is not available. We will resend a new one to the customer for free. We will always be responsible to our customers.

Q: Will this fit on a triple bristle Electric toothbrush

The space inside is 1 1/8 inch by 1 1/8 inch. If the brush fits in that area and the neck of the toothbrush isn't too wide to fit in the holder, it would work. But I'm not sure how big the triple bristle toothbrush is. Sorry.
