Thin and Light Back Cushion Lumbar Pillow for Home Chair, Office Chair,and Car Seat - Black

I have a Mazda CX5 2024 turbo with their top of the line trim. I ABSOLUTELY hated the car seat after a few weeks after buying it. It's hard and offered very little of a comfortable "S" curve in the back. Felt more like a "C" curve with a bar stuck in my lower back. Not to mention the butt area was terrible. Felt like I was stuck in a hole and sitting on cement. This chair back for me was great! It's soft but supportive and the lumbar amount is perfect. I love that it stays in place and is thin! The only downside is u can't feel the heat/ cool air coming through it if u have those functions on your seat. I actually thought it felt a little itchy when I did put the heat/ air on but if I didn't use those functions it didn't itch me but that could have just been me.

It sounds like Goldilocks & the three bears but...I've looked for a lumbar & back support for my husbands Mazda 3 for awhile. The seats don't work for me w/my spinal fusions. I looked at hundreds on amazon it seems. Alot are for desk chairs which makes them not suitable for a car seat. The different ones for car seats seem to be overly firm or bulky. This is the perfect combination of good, comfortable memory foam that is not bulky or too firm but melds to the chait while supporting the spine. I like the way that it goes up into the thoracic area. I likr how it straps to the seat i like that it tapers upward so the lumbar region is suported & that decreases into the thoracic region. Basically this works because it was well concieved for a car seat. Yes, I recommend it! I'm glad to havr chosen right & not needed to return & order another different one. This is terrific & meets all my expectations.

I purchased this for our passenger seat which does not have lumbar (SUV, BMW X3). I was getting very uncomfortable after just an hour of riding and needed a solution. Many lumbar specific pillows were difficult to fit in the seat size-wise and were actually too much thickness. This pad attaches securely, fits the seat well and because it’s full coverage, it supports my whole back. There is almost no lumbar support in this pad, BUT it zips open. So I used some padding and stuffed it to my desired thickness at my desired lumbar location.

2026 update: Both the one from 2022 and the one from 2024 are still going strong. I trimmed off the straps as they weren't needed and when my wife drives, she doesn't use it so going strapless makes it easier to move. Original review: This provides the right amount of support. The gel is very comfortable. It doesn't push my back too far forward (like most back supports) and it is firm yet malleable. I've had lumbar support options before, they are all way too thick. I went looking for thin and this gives me what I need to be comfortable in our Prius. It can be a little sweaty, not much different than the car seat, but my back doesn't hurt in 30 minutes, indeed I can drive hours w/o problem. Without this I can't stand to sit in a Toyota for long. When I forgot it once on a trip, I bought another without question, and now the spare stays in our second car. If I ever have to sit in an uncomfortable office chair again, I'll get a third.

Put this in our 2022 Corolla Hybrid. I had put a previous one in the drivers seat to give me better support for my back when we did trips in the car. After my wife had driven the car several times after the trip, she liked it a lot so ended up buying this second one to put on the passenger seat. You don't even know it's not part of the seat since it fits so snugly to the seat. There is no movement/shifting of it and it's just there every time you get in the car. Have not had any issues with my lower back on long trips since putting it in the car. We both really love it.

Purchased this for our Toyota Prius as my husband & I both have back issues. The elastic was misshapen on our current one so we wanted a new one with top & side elastic for better support. This offered no real back support so I gave away. My mom is really liking it as she doesn't need lower back support that I need. So, it's great if you are just looking for something comfy on your back but if you need lumbar support, this is not for you.

My car’s seat curves my back in a way that gives me back pain (Toyota Corolla iM). I first ordered the type of back rest (here on Amazon) with the air bladder in it, but it felt like the middle of my back was balancing on a deflated empty 2-liter bottle of soda. I was hesitant to get this one because I thought the puffy parts on the side would stick out too much, but when I installed it and sat down, I couldn’t believe it. It’s perfect! It raises my back just enough away from the seat in all the right places so that it’s supportive and makes my posture perfect while driving. Plus, it’s SO comfortable and soft. It’s like night and day. Unlike before, I get out of the car now and my back feels great. I can’t believe I had to suffer so long before finding this. Bonus: it’s not ugly and noticeable at all. Against black car seats, it just disappears.

The seat in my 2009 RDX is so uncomfortable I don't like driving as much as I used to...until I found this seat cushion. It's easy to install, the adjustable straps let you raise or lower the cushion so it hits you in the back just right, by tightening or loosening the top strap ie: don't settle for where it falls when you first put it on. I only wish that the cushion itself were a little longer in length to fit the full back of the seat. When you first get in the car the lumbar section feels a bit too thick, until you lean back into it and get the exact outline of your back. Then it's great until you get out of the car and back in etc. which I do for work. But compared to all the other options I've tried, this is definitely the best I've found so far and is almost perfect. I'm interested to see if it makes me sweat on a hot day as I've seen some comments say.

Last year I bought a new Kia Cerato, great car , but it didn't have adjustable lumbar support, so i Purchased this lumbar support pillow based on the positive reviews, what a difference it made to the comfort level when driving, i liked it so much I bought a second one for my office chair, no more back pain when driving or working, great price, well made, easy to install and stays in place.

Having received and tested for a while I can recommend this to anyone who suffers with lower back pain . Now moulded to how I sit in my car it really is a great relief well worth the money .
