good sprayer w/cap and long tube
Good quality sprayer and I like the thickness of the bottle.. Snug fitting caps are included for the sprayers so no worry of the bottle spraying in your luggage.. Sprayer has a long tube on it so you can cut to size or use on a taller bottle. One day after receiving these, I ordered a set of the larger spray bottles too.

Defective sprayers, or poor quality.
The sprayers stopped working on two of these after two days. They got sent back. Bummer. I dont think I am willing to give it another try to find out if they were defective, or just poor quality. Will go with a different brand next time.

Beautiful bottles, perfect for making gifts.
I have been making my own perfume body sprays, skin care, and essential oil products in plastic bottles for a while, and I wanted to start making them for friends since they are always borrowing mine. I grabbed these at a discount for review so I could check them out before buying a bunch this Christmas when I make gifts. These fit the bill nicely. They're a beautiful cobalt color, have a spray nozzle that mists nicely (no big droplets), and are big enough that I can make larger batches and save a lot of time. Some tips for making sprays from essential oils or perfume oils:- Mix equal amounts of essential oil/perfume oil with Polysorbate 80. This allows the oils to mix with water. Otherwise the oil stays separated and will clog your nozzles and you'll have to always shake them before using.- Be sure to research the maximum percent of oils to use directly on the skin. They're all different - some of my perfume oils can be applied directly at 50%, some are lower than 10%, depending on the ingredients. Many essential oils are very irritating or cytotoxic to skin cells and must be diluted. Please research this so you don't end up with a rash or something worse. For example, citrus oils can cause blistering burns if they're on your skin and you're in the sun.My favorite spray recipe for summer is Peppermint Oil - it's very cooling. The IFRA Max percent it should be on skin is 5%, so for a 4 ounce bottle (120 ml) I mix up 6ml of peppermint oil with 6ml of Polysorbate 80 and swirl it around. I then add distilled water to top it off. I always, always, always add a preservative - the one I use is effective at .5%, so it's just a few drops and will prevent mold, fungus, bacteria, and yeast from growing in the product. Even if you don't see that stuff growing, it is there and can be harmful or irritating. You can see how big the bottles are compared to a standard size soda can. I will add personalized labels that I print off at home when I give them as gifts.I'll definitely be reordering more of these.
