These are better than the STERILITE products. The plastic of these is more sturdy and the lids are hinged and much sturdier. You can stack these - each box around 30 pounds. Can stack about 3 high. Any higher and the bottom box top might break. SteriLIte products crack easily when stacked.Great for storing things in your basement or garage. In garage it can handle 90+ F degrees and periods below freezing too. Warning . at cold temperatures the plastic gets brittle so do not drop them on garage floor. Be more gentle in winter and they will last several years.Highly recommend these. Can hold a lot of stuff, including important papers you want to keep for 7 years in case needed for IRS audits, etc. (bills, tax filings, investment buy and sell histories, etc). Can also be used to store liquids, painting supplies, auto supplies, tools, DVDs, wiring, games, toys, etc,...... Buy some stick on large sticky labels (from amazon) and label your boxes for better organization of your stuff.I've been using these types of storage containers for over 20 years.Good for storing your travel emergency stuff in your vehicle trunk - emergency vests, flares, flashlights, first aid kit, tools, emergency blankets, gloves, ice scraper, etc.. Great for storage of larger items that are not too heavy. The plastic is not flexible, so it can crush and break if overloaded. These are stackable. They are clear enough to see inside. The flip lids assure you don't loose your top, however the hinge is easily broken if the lids are not closed and lined up properly. The handles are deep enough to grab onto.

I bought 2 of these containers to store my small window air conditioner units during the off-season. It’s a perfect fit! When they arrived, I was concerned that they might be just a bit too small (even though I measured 3x before buying), but the a/c unit fits perfectly. I especially like the attached lid.

Perfect size and design. I’m filling it up with emergency supplies and keeping it in a closet to be handy and ready, if ever needed. (I.e. power outages etc)

Me gusta que tiene las tapas con bisagras. Fabrico helados y las usaré para almacenar las tapas de los envases. Una caja para cada sabor. Y no me gustaría que la tapa de un sabor esté en otro sabor equivocado.

super sturdy, rigid and versatile container with attached lid. I use them in the garage, pantry, and for the kids' lego and train sets etc. the lid is attached with a metal rod (vs. plastic like some other similar containers) and much higher quality. very pleased and would recommend.
