Thanks. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy cap, reliable, fairly easy to clean *by J***R on Reviewed in the United States on August 13, 2023* I bought this to replace the one that came with my old Tervis plastic water bottle as that one has developed some sort of slime mold or hard water buildup on the silicone where the lid meets the edge of the drinking hole that no amount of vinegar or bleach was able to remove. I'm huessing that with frequent use the silicone developed a tiny tear that holds onto the gross whatever it is and lets it keep regenerating, because it's just in the one spot and the rest is fine. Silicone can sometimes develop micro tears that result in hiding crevices for a myriad grossness, it happens with wear and tear.Obviously I have no complaints buying a replacement cap after years of use since the first one did work well for a long time, and the only problem I have is not something that's the fault of the manufacturer as far as I can tell.
