This works exceptionally when it comes to bleeding open wounds particularly for after having dialysis treatment and things of that nature...

I used this dressing as I had chopped a large chunk of flesh away from my thumb down to the bone, the wound was very deep. Working as a nurse I treated this myself, I had not used this manufacturers dressing before, but have used alginate dressing in the past which are very good for absorbing moisture from a wound. A word of advice, always use a silicon net dressing underneath this, directly on the wound, as alginate dressings will stick to the wound making it very difficult and painful to remove. It absorbed really well and I changed the dressing around every four to five days. The dressing pad was slightly larger than I needed for the wound so I folded it in half for extra absorbancy. It took about a month to heal properly and has healed really well. Hopefully I won't be required to use it again anytime soon, but can highly recommend it. But please remember NOT to put it directly on your skin.

Used to dress a deep healing wound on my husbands leg. Worked really well, can’t fault it.

Users need to know this is a base dressing and will need a covering with adhesive edges to keep it in place.It does state this on the instruction leaflet inside the box but not apparent until purchased.

Los compré porque me tenía que hacer curaciones con gasas húmedas que no se pegaran a la piel y estás están perfectas. Si te tienes que introducir y cambiar tazas todos los días estás van muy bien porque no se pegan a la herida, se vuelven un gel.

Es ist sehr gut wenn man offene nicht zu tiefe Wunden hat, um die Verletzung feucht zu halten damit sie von innen heraus heilen kann
