Is wonderful for a singe piece helmet. Not so good with my modular helmet but I've overcome it sith a small degree of tweaking straps....

Great Helmet/Gear Lock Set on Budget
I am satisfied with these helmet locks. I appreciate the dual pack and pricing as I needed to pick up locks for my friend an I to lock our helmet and jackets to our motorcycles when attending a show.The combination is easy to set, and the locks works well in terms of easy of opening/locking. My main gripe is that these are not quite as long as advertised, and you do not get nearly that much length out of them in practicality as the wiring is tightly coiled - even when trying to stretch this lock out from end-to-end it was just shy of the advertised 59in (approx. 5ft), so be advised as this made it quite difficult to fit through a sleeve of my jacket, my helmet, and secure it under the strap of my passenger seat.It is a bit bulky at the ends if you need to secure it under/through a tighter spot as was the case when I needed to secure it through the strap on my motorcycle's passenger seat, but for the price I am satisfied. This was a lot of two locks wherein similar products that turned up while I was searching cost around the same pricing for just a single unit.For short term stays wherein you just want peace of mind in having a theft (or wind) deterrent from loosing your gear, this works well - it was great to be able to leave my helmet and jacket with my motorcycle instead of the burden of carrying it all around with me throughout my stay at a largescale outdoor event in the sweltering heat.

A good buy!
Setting personal code is easy, they work good far. The lock part is plastic, bht in reality if someone wants your stuff they will get it no matter what you lock it with. Good deterrent for those low level theifs.
