This one has exactly same mechanism as the original, but with a larger mirror. The original should have the warning like your right side car mirror -(objects are closer than they appear). no no, please don't do that. But this one is basically flat so you get a larger picture of the same area. When I thought about it I realized that a wider view would just give me a larger view of my left arm. Still, it's a bit bulky for what you gain. But a bit better view is a good thing when riding in traffic ( It's the hot rod guy coming up from behind that will get you if you bobble) And if I ever scratch it by falling down again, (yes I do!) I can put on a mirror from the older one. One reason I really like Hafny is that the mechanism is so precise that you can adjust it to stay put in the bumps and still adjust a bit while riding. And you can even fall down without breaking it.

I use the old version for years, the one without the extra piece in the middle that extends upwards. But had a slight accident with my bike and the old one broke. So I figured I'd try the "new and improved" version. The problem was that I have things on the ends of my bars that allow me to grip the bar end, just to have another position when riding. And that middle vertical bar got in the way. I had to keep my hand a little further up, which I didn't like. Maybe I didn't adjust it properly. I don't know. But I returned it and bought the old version again, which works great for me. Fits around my bar extenders and I can keep my hand all the way at the bottom. Other than that, it's a great mirror. Highly recommended, unless you use bar extenders.

Wide view from a small mirror. Easily installed, although I had to drill out handgrip. Gently and loosely tightened it to determine best viewing angle. Downward positioning required me to move my forearm to see the mirror. Upward was just right. Once it's where you most likely want it, then snug it. Do not use Herculean force. It is not necessary to overtightened to secure it properly. That's why people complain they're breaking on install. Once you ride for a bit, you'll know where you prefer it, then snug it a little more. I can easily see the entire 2 lane road behind me. I bought the glass tinted mirror type, so hopefully no issues with sun glare or scratching. Mirror stays put unless you bump it out of position or trail ride on some rough terrain, even then its a quick gentle readjustment. Very unobtrusive and extremely functional. Buying another one now for wife's Discover 3.

I’ve used other mirrors on other bikes. This is the best. Quality optics triumph despite the small size. I did not enjoy drilling out the end of the hand grip on my new bike. Once done and adjusted, this little mirror does a superior job. I swivel it out of the way for loading on the bike carrier and back out for riding. It adjusts quickly at the start of each ride and stays in place even on rough trails.

I finally bought a mirror for my Ebike. I mostly ride "rail trails" but more and more I find myself on roads. Riding roads where cars are present almost demands having a mirror to be safe and my purchase of this mirror was a good thing. Was very easy to install and it fits my bike well. Feels very secure and is easily adjusted... actually maybe a little too easy to adjust. Meaning it is also moved out of the desired position as easily as it is put in the wanted position. Bumps ad normal riding to not affect its adjustment but a bump of the arm or occasional smack with a branch will.

I purchased a second one for both my scooters because of how well it works. Very easy to install mirror, as you can put it in pretty much any orientation that works for you. I have both mirrors on two scooters I own, they are very sturdy and don't move at all when riding. They are also very easy to adjust incase they do get moved somehow. Installation took about a minute, and I haven't had to move it since. The glass is clear and easy to clean as well.

This mirror has 3 places on it that can be used to make adjustments. The top and bottom adjustments use the included hex key wrench and work just fine. The middle adjustment takes a smaller hex key wrench. When I used my wrench to tighten this fitting the plastic around the screw started to split. Everything is tight and time will tell if this will hold up or not. The quality of the mirror itself is good.

Clear view, sees past my arm. Solid, does not shake a bit and holds it's adjustment not matter how hard the bumps are. The perfect replacement for one of those always in the way and moving motorcycle style mirror bracket types.

Getting into cycling again and needed a bike mirror. Looked at others that were larger and top mounted then came across this product . We have installed in the end of the handle bars ( there was an easy removable plug ) and pointed the mirror downwards . It was super easy install . The flexible joints alway for easy positioning. Even though the mirror itself is small you can see alot , I dont have you twist my head to see what traffic is behind me. Highly recommend for ease of installation, visibilty and of course safety.

I bought the model with anti-glare blue glass and the second articulation in the elbow. I anticipated that by having the mirror slightly further away from the bar end I would have a better rearview than the more compact model offers. It works well, allowing an easy glance of the rearview without any obstruction from my arm. I mounted it on my e-bike and it was very easy to install and adjust. After a couple hundred km of use (including bumpy dirt roads) it retains its position yet remains easy to adjust while riding. I'm glad I bought the automotive-quality glass version and not the polished stainless-steel version. The optical clarity of the glass mirror is excellent. Every e-bike user should have a mirror!
