Limbsaver Comfort-Tech 24503 Metal Detector Sling, Orange

This sling is very heavy duty yet is very comfortable. It fits well to my metal detector (a MineLab 540). I have another sling that is very functional yet flimsy. This harness is a great value and I expect it will last many years.

Works great for an old guy that has shoulder problems, but kind of a hassle to put aside when digging. Take your grandson or granddaughter helpers.

Bought this for those long days swinging a heavy pulse induction. It’s really straight forward to attach, but the rubber strap is a little stiff so far. (That might soften over time)I’m 6’3 and had to loosen the strap quite a bit to be able to hold the detector in the right spot.The issue I’m having is that it causes the coil to raise up off the ground on either side of my swing. In other words, it’s a chore to get the coil to swing at a consistent height from the ground, and that’s a problem.Not gonna return it, but it’s not as useful or comfortable as I was expecting, thus 3 stars.

I have used it awhile now. If you are going to be metal detecting for any length of time it does what the manufacturer claims quality product

Easy to install and adjust to fit. A MUST for those who wish to detect for mor than an hour at a time. Saves alot on soreness and arm getting tired.

Nice product. Takes the weight off your arm and when you bend over to dig it doesn't leave you reaching for the detector. Allows you detect for longer periods of time with less fatigue.. Only downfall is how it attaches to the detector, but I've only used it for about four hours so I'm sure I'll figure out an enhancement. These straps should come with every detector. Quality made and comfortable.

and I see others with bungee cords strapped homemade rigs that seem to work as well. This needs constant adjusting.

Works fine for me. I used it on my metal detector on a 2 day hunt. I was able to hunt for 2, days 8 hours each, and was able to cover more ground because my arm didn't get as tired. I use a Minelab Etrac which isn't the heaviest detector I have had, but it's not the lightest either.

I have used a lot of harnesses , where you spend most of the day working out which strap go’s where . Very comfortable and covert looking, not like the para trooper full body look at me rubbish. Or the what’s that small strap cutting though my neck ones.
