**Q: Does it have grip?**
A: No, no grip pads. Only a steel block.

**Q: How much does it weigh?**
A: Around 2 pounds.

**Q: Will imprints (stamping) go through, and imprint onto this block?**
A: I haven’t had this issue yet. I use mine for bolster pins for knife making and haven’t seen any imprinting on it. Hope this was helpful!

**Q: Would I be able to drill a hole in this ?**
A: It depends on the hardness of your drill head. Though I would recommend 60+ HRC.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Schwerer, stabiler Stahlblock – ideal als kleiner Amboss für 3D-Druckarbeiten

Ich nutze diesen ca. 1 kg schweren Stahlblock als flachen Amboss, um Gewindeeinsätze beim Einschmelzen in 3D-Druckteile auf dem letzten Millimeter sauber und gerade einzudrücken. Dafür brauchte ich ein Material, das kurzzeitig etwa 250 °C aushält und nicht am Kunststoff kleben bleibt oder anschmilzt. Genau dafür eignet sich der Block sehr gut. Durch das hohe Gewicht bei kompakter Größe verrutscht er nicht, was bei solchen Arbeiten ein klarer Vorteil ist. Ich empfehle dennoch ein Karton, Stück Stoff oder sogar eine Gummimatte darunter zu legen, damit es nichts zerkratzt oder sich leichter vom Tisch abheben lässt. Vor der ersten Nutzung sollte man ihn allerdings gründlich reinigen, da er recht fettig geliefert wurde. Ich habe dafür Isopropanol/Butanol und ein Wattepad verwendet. Die Kanten sind entgratet, wenn auch nicht perfekt sauber verarbeitet. Schneiden kann man sich daran aber nicht. Für meinen Einsatzzweck absolut brauchbar.
