KAVU Chillba Hat: Ultimate Sun Protection for Outdoor Activities

The Kavu Chillba hats keep sun off of my face while allowing air to flow along the sides and the tops of my head. The hat is light on my head, and it even floats in case it falls off when I'm in the water. There are a number of attractive designs available, and every single time I go to a farmers market or similar event, at least one person will let me know how much they like my hat! These hats hold up well, and I have three of them so that I can keep one nice one in the car, one nice one at home, and one for working outside when it's dusty. My oldest of these hats is 15 years old and it's still in perfect shape!

I saw an offshore sailor talk about how great this hat is for sailing, so I bought one. I use it mostly for gardening and I had to agree to only wear it in the back yard until fashion catches up with function. Light weight and it’s nice not having material right against your scalp on a hot day. I will try it sailing once I’m out of port! lol I was so impressed with the quality though that I bought several other hats from this company. I love them all!

I originally bought this because I need a decent sun hat for my bald head. This one looked pretty quirky and I bought it as a joke. But to put things short. Its the best hat I have ever owned. The build quality is top notch and offers full sun protection on your neck and face. It also says "water resistant" but i was swimming with this thing on all day in it always sprung back to life when I re surfaced. I highly recommend this hat if you need serious sun protection, but make sure you are a social person because every other person you meet will stop you to ask about it!

Good hat all around, but there's alot of stuff that I have to point out. First and foremost is the hat will come bent or with a crease due to shipping. It also will not retain it's cone like shape due to how it's attaches to your head it puts stress on the inside foam making it wavy. Once you put it on and tighten the straps it'll no longer be centered. I've warn this cap everyday to work since over gotten it. I'm a Delivery driver, so its seen it's fair share of abuse already. Very good for shade once on it stays. Very durable. Will be changing a few things on it

I like the design, color and style. I’m planning on wearing it in Greece this coming summer.

Hat was folded several times to fit in a tiny shipping bag and now will not sit correctly on a head. The material is not great and fits weird. Not worth the $50!

The design is either off or made for tiny heads.

My son absolutely loves his new hat. Good coverage in the sun. Comfortable to wear!
