CATIYA 12V Constant Voltage LED Driver Transformer, Low Voltage Power Supply Adapter 24V300W Black YSD-24300-UL

I wired it up to the existing old plug, and away I went. Powering 3 upper cabinets covered in LED strips. My mother was going to pay 60$ through Grainger for this but they didn't have an exact match, and it would have taken even longer to get here. She couldn't decide which one to get (she's retired age, set in her ways, ways that don't really exist anymore, even here in the laid back country-side) I just went ahead and ordered it anyways. Without saying a thing I hooked it up, and it's still working a month or two later. We use the cabinet LED's as our night-light and they stay on 24/7. This unit has some good weight to it, and an aluminum or metal-like enclosure (read: not plastic, because plastic can burn/melt), so I have some piece of mind with it sitting on-top of the wooden cabinets that it won't cause an issue. Definitely a little above 'builder-grade' quality from what I can tell - just keep in mind, give it 5~10 seconds to power up the first time you plug it in so you can be sure it works. I hit the switch, waited a few seconds and nothing happened, so i flicked it back off to go check the connections, and the lights quickly flashed letting me know it was hooked up right in the first place before I could get to the connections. So when in doubt, wait it out! Wait a good 15 seconds when first testing, though people in the industry would already know this with transformers. I'm just a 'weekend warrior' when it comes to electrical work, knowing just enough to keep the house working and safe.--Would purchase again without hesitation.

THE DRIVERS STARTED FLICKERING AFTER 60 DAYS. THEY ALSO RUN AT 170DEG F WHICH IS ON THE WARM SIDE TO SAY THE LEAST. IVE USED THOUSANDS OF DRIVERS AND MILES OF LED IN THE LAST 14YRS SO I DEFFINATLEY HAD REALISTIC EXPECTATIONS FOR PROPER LOADING OF THE DRIVERS. THEY MIGHT HOLD 200W SAFELY BUT ITS NOT UL LISTED SO WHO REALLY KNOWS?

The product pictures kinda deceived me because they show the board and screwable headers. i bought this power supply so i can screw it on my workbench and change the cable with a nice silicon one to power different tools (ej. a ts100 solder pen) sadly when i disassembled it to put the new wire (didn't want to just splice and joint the actual wire) realized that the insides are full of a white material to isolate everything, which means that if anything happens with this power supply it would be "unfixable".Besides that it works ( which is the minimum you expect for a product ), for the price you can get a serviceable one or one that gives you the posibility to adapt to your needs.

I bought this driver and was wondering if this is a dimmable driver.

The 12v transformer just wasn't enough for the LED landscape lights (also bought from Amazon). They were far too dim. I couldn't find a 24v transformer with a built-in photo sensor for dusk-to-dawn operation, so I bought this and a separate timer ($10 from Home Depot). The back garden has been transformed! The lights (with a yellow-ish filter added to warm them up) now look fantastic!
