A bit religious
There is a bit of a religious undertone I was not aware of. It was very funny and relatable besides that.

Why Some Animals Eat Their Young
I haven’t had as many laughs reading a book as I did with this one in a long time. What a delightful read!I am a mother of 4 children. My husband was a truck driver. I could completely identify with her tactics on raising kids. I also drove school bus for 29 years.I never made separate meals for my children. They learned to eat what was put in front of them. When they got older, they could have a meal of their choice, but they had to cook it for the whole family. Friday night was pizza night. Saturday a sandwich night and Sunday I would make a nice dinner. My children were also biters. One bite back usually stopped them in their tracks. I never left marks either!Laundry was a constant here too. One of my youngest’s first chores was to match socks...lots of socks. Today, I do maybe 3 loads a week verses 7 loads a day back then. The time seems to crawl when they were all little or sick, but the years really do fly by. All are grown and are now parents themselves.I really laughed about the stomping. My youngest was a stomper and so is her daughter. I swear there is a rut in our hallway.

Loved it!
This book was absolutely hilarious. I couldn't stop laughing so much. It brought back so many crazy and hilarious memories. Dallas Louis did this book justice.

Amen
Ah, how well this book brings back those days of childhood rearing. Mrs. Louis writes from the heart, and bears all in this raucous accounting of the early years of life with three young children.

Drags on
A few funny stories, but seems to just drag on.

A fantastic book to make you feel maybe, just maybe you did ok.
Love loved this book. I am in my 70s have six grandchildren and still thought this book was a hoot. I am giving one to my daughter and 2 daughter-in-laws and a close friend. I also appreciate the fact that God was important in her life. Without Him we would never be able to pull it off. Thanks for a great read

Wisdom and laughs. Highly recommend.
This really is a great read! Dallas writes with humor, humility, and wisdom. Loved this book. I read a lot and many books I have read are forgettable, but not this one. I will be recommending this book to my friends and also to my newly married nieces,as there is great advice about marriage as well as the early years of raising kids.

Kids aren’t easy but so rewarding
Dallas really puts in writing what most moms are thinking but afraid they are the only one. Fun reminder or not so fun reminder of when my adult children were babies. Someone once said - the days are long, but the years are short. Enjoy all the stages of your babies. Thanks for sharing.
