He put this one in himself, allowed me to adjust it for him and he took off on his bike. He liked it so much, he kept it on when he was done riding; and played in the yard for quite awhile before taking it off. He flinched a few times when buckling the chin strap; but the no pinch guard works well; and he snaps it closed himself now. We will be buying another one soon for his younger brother.
