Good size for a smaller dining room! The seeded glass is a great transitional look. This pendant would be at home in many settings, and instantly adds an elegant & interesting air. We chose it because it dosen't have a heavy look in our smaller dining room, but still makes a statement. My husband installed it without difficulty, and added a dimmer to suit the ambience.Altogether, a great purchase at a good price.

Classy, simple, and stylish! Love the seeded glass and the satin nickel hanging arm. (Several close alternatives have a black cable, which would not have achieved the same light, clean look.)HANGING ARM - MUST READ: The hanging arm has 3 fixed-length metal sections (two 12”, one 6”), which means you don’t have a lot of flexibility for exact hanging position. (i.e. You can only adjust by 6”, 12”, etc. based on the arms available. The ends screw together, so they can’t be cut down.) The fixture (15.75”), baseplate (2.75”), and all 3 arms (30”) total 48.5” in height. Our kitchen ceiling is 9’8”, so we used all 3 arms placing the fixture bottom 67.5” off the floor and 29.5” above the island. This placement works perfect! With LED bulbs, the fixture is very bright, so having the light source above eye level will ensure it doesn’t blind you. Using different arm combinations, the fixture total height options are: 48.5”, 42.5”, 36.5”, 30.5”, and 24.5”.8’ or 9’ Ceiling: Hangs 65.5” or 71.5” from floor.(30-33” above an island is the guideline. With this fixture, if constrained or in doubt, hang it higher.)The light is ambient (spreads all directions), so it’s quite effective for lighting up the room and beyond. We’re using a Lutron AYCL-153P dimmer with an ST64 Edison 9W LED 3000K bulb. (I tried an amber bulb which also looks nice. A 2700K clear bulb would be my preference to best match our recessed can lighting though.) You’ll want a good dimmer for sure.These are beautiful fixtures that light up our kitchen, yet keep a fresh, clear view. Highly recommended!

Purchased two of these lights for my kitchen island. Very happy with the quality and look. They are lovey in person and will look even better when I put the correct bulbs in!! Perfect touch over the island, when you want to have nice fixtures, but do not want to take away from you cabinetry and counters. I have seen a lot of people using metals and shiny chrome fixtures in the kitchen, but these let you add a nice accent that is not too overbearing.Overall 4 Star Rating:Easy to installelectrician and contractors both liked the fixtures as well.can't beat free two day shipping (w /prime)My only recommendation to Kitchler is to add extra washers. Since the glass is blown, its not 100% identical in length. The difference in length is a little less then 3/4", but I happen to be of of those people who notice every little thing! If I had extra washers I could try and even out the lights a little better.If there were extra washers, my rating would be 5 stars!

Very unique pendant looks great in the space.

As described. Installed these over kitchen island to replace billiard-style chandelier (which offered better down light for working, but out of style). The only con is the clear glass now diffuses light onto ceiling and walls, and not directed down to the kitchen counter, where I need it. In this picture I have 100 watt halogen bulbs and my family says I'm going to burn everyone's eyes out! They are the same bulbs I used in my old fixture but it provides about half the down light now and everyone can see the full exposed bulb due to clear glass. Hard to find LED bulbs that are clear with enough watts, lumens, and not 2,700 kelvins, which is yellowish light. It's a personal preference, but many LED bulbs are 5,000 kelvins "daylight" color, which seem way too blue/white, like florescent color. I've found 3,000-3,500 kelvins is the sweet spot for colorless bulb. Also, inserting the bulbs takes two careful hands, as the base twists, so you have to use one hand to hold the base still while the second hand screws in the bulb... and the hole in the bottom is only 4.5 inches wide so smaller hands better.

Unfortunately had to return this pendant light. I asked for clear and they sent seeded. To top that so many pieces were missing making it impossible to hang. I do love the look of the light though.

These lights are excellent. I had previously ordered and returned lessor priced lights (one was broken and the others were just too cheap). These lights were packaged well and the overall quality is much higher than recent lights I've looked at. The instructions for installation were lacking, but assembly was pretty easy to figure out (install everything but the globe, then slide the globe over and up the support rod, then install the split washer and silicone washer that holds the globe). Most importantly, install a dimmer. I used clear 2700K LED Edison shaped bulbs (the vintage ones looked really bad for our lighting). When dimmed, these things look awesome. I was also worried that these lights might seem to big, they were replacing mini pendants but they fit really nicely.

The 20" pendants really make a statement over the my nearly 11-foot island. Ceilings are 9'4", so we used one 6" and one 12" downrod on each. Bottom of pendant is about 29" above counter (about an inch lower than typically recommended 30"-36"). Bulbs are GE Relax LED 60w. Probably could have gone with 40w. Plan to install a dimmer. The installation instructions are less than clear when it comes to putting on the globe. Thanks to fellow Amazon reviewer Matt Pursley for his clarifying comments: "The instructions for installation were lacking, but assembly was pretty easy to figure out (install everything but the globe, then slide the globe over and up the support rod, then install the split washer and silicone washer that holds the globe)."

I installed this beauty in my dining area. I did a brick feature wall and this light compliments the brick area very nicely. I'll update with a picture.

These lights are beautiful but a huge pain to take down to clean with just one person. You have to push the glass up, take off the little metal part it sits on and then unscrew the bulb in order to get the glass off. Not exactly easy to do for just one person.

I'm glad that I didn't pay full price for this fixture, because other than the glass piece, everything else is worth $5 at most. Everything is so cheap, and the assembly instructions couldn't be anymore vague. I've put many light fixtures together, and this one has been a major source of annoyance. It looks pretty nice in photos online, but it's a major piece of crap.

Nice light, but didn't realize that when turned on, it casts weird shadows on surrounding wall due to the air bubbles in the glass. Makes our plain walls look like they're wallpapered!
