Great for building HT coordination skills
As with other Dow books, this book's character is so engaging that it easily captures the student's interest. This book has wonderful opportunities to practice some hands together skills while still staying very manageable and leaves the student feeling successful. My daughter LOVED this book so much that she created her own song based on 2 of the songs from the book. Highly recommend!

Great resource
My students love all the Very Useful books by Andrea Dow and High Jump Jackson is one of their favorites. We choose a different warm up (there are several at the beginning of the book) for each week, and then explore the songs, theory exercises and games.

These are great books to change things up or bridge students
I used these books over the summer and they were great! Each book contains warm-ups, 9 songs, 4 activity sets (theory), a practice chart, and a certificate. They can serve a variety of purposes. I used some to help as a refresher for kids who were struggling with certain concepts. Other students used them as a fun break from their normal method books. I plan to incorporate these moving forward in my regular curriculum. The Mummy book was a timely addition that my students love playing. Thank you for these great resources! I love them.
