Review: Lightweight, Powerful, Well-Made - I really found this lightweight blower a great addition for me, especially being almost 80 years old. I live in a retirement community. I have no grass or leaves but every few weeks I trim bushes, small desert plants, and flower beds. Before I put the debris in the trash, I get them in a pile. This strong blower does it quickly and easily for me. Its light weight construction makes it easy to hold and maneuver for me. We get dust, bugs, and debris in the garage, and the blower works very well there too. I also bought a Black & Decker hedge trimmer from desertcart that is also superb. For me, the corded versions of these products are clearly superior to battery-operated devices. They can run for as long as you need them with no concern for batteries dying. Also, here in the Las Vegas desert, batteries wouldn't survive too long on our 112F+ heat. I heartily recommend this leaf blower. Review: This baby BLOWS! It's awesome! - Little baby packs a punch, but light enough. My back is broken so I am a lot weaker than most these days. This came in 2 pieces and clipped right together, no fuss. I plugged in my outdoor utility extension cord, and looped it through the hole and cord catch hook on the back to keep the cord in place and plug intact without issue. Then I turned it on and it has enough power that I had to use the handle on top at times to direct it, but not so much power that a person with a broken back couldn't operate it safely. Let me tell you it really BLOWS. No weak sauce here. Blew my leaves right out of the planter, all the debris off my porch and driveway, including the gunk that cruds up the built in concrete cracks that divide the slabs of cement. Standing on the driveway it even blew leaves across my yard feet away. If you need a reasonably-powered leaf blower, this is it. The next day I saw this poor guy using his sad little Ryobi battery-pack leaf blower and I felt for him. It was the saddest excuse for a tool I've seen, but he really took his time to do the job despite that little blower having little effect. I felt even more grateful for this product. It took me seconds to do the job it took him quite some time to do. You can't go wrong... and should buy this thing before they realize how underpriced it truly is and raise the price. What a deal! Thanks Black & Decker! Between this and the 40-some dollar AMAZING weed whacker, I am having so much fun in my yard in half the time it takes others. Way to go! ## Features - 7 Amp motor provides a powerful and efficient blowing performance - Moves up to 180Mph to 180CFM for fast and easy cleanup of leaves and debris. Answer to that is NO. it has a plug receptacle for a three prong plug from any extension cord and that cord can be as long as you wish. When blowing the yard I use a 50ft. cord from home depot, on smaller jobs I have cord from 15ft. to 25ft.This unit works great for me so I highly recommend it. **Q: Can my 100 year old grandmother use this and not get knocked over? She enjoys yard work.** A: Your 100 year old grandmother will be fine, as long as she is steady on her feet. No, this does not "KICK LIKE A SHOTGUN" - that person who said that has obviously never held a shotgun, much less fired one. **Q: I have a smaller yard with 2 oak trees, thus a lot of leaves to clean up. Is this product strong enough to handle lots and lots of leaves?** A: I have 5 acres with approx. 2 doz. huge oaks with very large leaves & about two acres of lawn. I blow leaves into piles & then pick up. I use a 150 ft. ext. cord. I also use the riding mower but bags fill quick. **Q: What gage cord do I need to buy with this blower ?** A: The LB700 can be used with a 18 Gauge (0-25ft), 16 Gauge (26-50 ft), 14 Gauge (51-100 ft) or 12 Gauge (101-150ft) cords. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Lightweight, Powerful, Well-Made *by B***S on July 31, 2026* I really found this lightweight blower a great addition for me, especially being almost 80 years old. I am the wife!! I’m tired of sweeping the patio so with this baby it blows the dust & leaves fast. It’s electric. We couldn’t find one in the stores as they are all battery. The cord is easy. Isn’t cumbersome at all. It’s like a medium size leaf blower. Not too loud—not deafening!! The button stays on so you don’t have to hold the button on to run. This was USED LIKE NEW so I took a chance to save $20! I’m so glad we did. It was in its own box plus an Amazon box. It didn’t have any wrap on it or an instruction book. Two pieces: nozzle & handle. Simple! I blew everything in the yard including dirt. lol. I am still in training. It blew leaves just fine, dried berries from our ficus tree & small sticks. I didn’t want to mess around. Wear a mask as you’ll get dusty. At least I did. I burned 250 calories in 32 minutes. Worth the work out. Hope this helps you. 🌻 ## Frequently Bought Together - BLACK+DECKER Electric Leaf Blower, 7-Amp (LB700) - Woods Light Duty Extension Cord, 25Ft, 16 Gauge, 3 Conductor, General Purpose Extension Cord, SJTW, Orange, 267 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sk/products/32235315-black-decker-electric-leaf-blower-handheld-blowers-for-lawn-care](https://www.desertcart.sk/products/32235315-black-decker-electric-leaf-blower-handheld-blowers-for-lawn-care) --- *Product available on Desertcart Slovakia* *Store origin: SK* *Last updated: 2026-10-10*
