HP Chromebook 11A G8 Education Edition AMD A4-9120C 4GB DDR4-1866 SDRAM, 32GB eMMC 11.6-inch WLED HD Webcam Chrome OS (Renewed)

I was really hesitant to buy a refurbished laptop because I was afraid something would be wrong with it. I was pleasantly surprised with my Chromebook. It definitely exceeds my expectations. Everything works on it, it boots up quickly, it has a lot of space, it looks brand new with no visible marks on it, and it is an insanely great price. I couldn't have asked for anything better. This purchase has given me the confidence to purchase other items from Amazon Renewed, and I can't wait to get my new phone from there.

I got this with low expectations; but hoping it would at least last for at least a year. It will barely work even while plugged in at this point and its only been a few months. I don't even try unplugged anymore. Don't bother.

Works perfect. I bought as a gift for one of my girls she loves it. Came in perfect condition. Great size.

This Chromebook is absolutely functional. I love the 11 inch size of the laptop. One problem I have is that the battery heats up when the device is on my lap. I solved this issue by placing the Chromebook on a Tray table (desk) and because there are rubber feet on the bottom there is enough air flow to keep the battery cool. This is an issue with the make of the device, the only issue I've had with the renewed factor was they sent a charger that did not work with the laptop. the company was friendly and respectful and gave me enough of a refund to purchase a new charger. I started this review by stating this laptop is functional and not exceptional. the display is good not great, the speakers work well not great, and the "lap" top cant sit on your lap to long because of the battery heating up. But i gave it four stars because you can't beat the price on a Chromebook good till 2029, and the durability of this specific model is supposed to be good because it is made for students who are known to be rough on laptops. Also I have had no issues with speed of web browsing or file downloads. I connected it to my Wifi and after a semi brief set of updates i was ready to go. after playing with it for a day or so i have determined that this little Chromebook will serve me well for the next few years until i can afford to purchase a better laptop.

Times have changed since I was a kid and now a lot of schoolwork is being done on the computer (especially for very young kids). I wanted to find a computer that wasn't too expensive (as my 2nd grader is still learning responsibilities and taking care of our things). This computer was exactly what I was looking for. I was worried about understanding the operating system as I am use to windows, but it was very easy to use. My son loves it and is excited that he can do some of his school games at home. It's very sturdy and I feel it should last him long enough until he needs a computer with more features.

The Chromebook worked great as it should only thing I had a problem with it is an outdated and had only 4gb of RAM memory which only allowed you to download 1 application at a time. Which means you would have to uninstall the application to download another application. For this reason I give it 3 stars.
