Update #4, 6-6:Replacement already got here. IT IS BEAUTIFUL RED WHITE AND BLUE!!! 🇺🇸 🇺🇸🇺🇸 The white stripes are WHITE and BRIGHT!! again with some tough looking stitching- only time, sun & wind will tell for sure and i will update this again later in the year if i remember. I DO RECOMMEND THIS STARS AND STRIPES SHADE SAIL!! If you are thinking about it for the FOURTH OF JULY 🇺🇸🎆🎇 GET IT NOW and that way if it has some bleeding you can get it sent back to amazon and get a replacement in time.The company was FAST to help solve the problem with the first and very bad one of these. One Picture I posted is the first one i received next to the replacement. You can see how bad the dye issue was. The replacement came and is vivid and beautiful.Update #2, 6-5:I unfolded the shade thing all the way to see what else was up with it. The stitching seems good and the D rings are heavy duty and look to be stitched into a heavy flat bit of nylon or something like that. *see photos* Provided the stitching goes all the way across and through it, it seems to be securely and well made. The fabric itself aside from the dye problem is pretty sturdy. It is made out of that ... kind of loud when you run your nails across it shiny slick material. But it seems sturdy and thick without being overly thick. Idk, think 80’s windbreaker 😂The measurements of the actual shade part, the rectangular part minus the sticky-outy legs, are 5ft 4in x 8ft8in.I laid the thing on the ground and hosed it down. I can confirm at least this flag version one IS WATERPROOF. I made a little lake in the flag and left it sit. HOURS later it was still holding the water. *See the pictures for the water and how the shadow is in the picture later for time passage & still holding the little lake* ☔️ Raindrops with this hung at an angle would run right off this thing.Update #1, june3-21:the company reached out to me about the bled dye and working on a solution. I already returned the item instead of exchange because it appears the thing was folded and packaged with still wet dye. Which means the entire lot that amazon has probably has the same problem. However it also could have been a fluke and i just got a lemon 🍋If I get another one that doesn’t bleed or fade (so one that has quality dye) i will update this again.But so far the company was fast to work on a solution and happy to issue a refund. So i am raising this from one to 3stars.Original review:Red ink all over white stripes fresh out of the package. Didn’t even unfold it all the way. It looks great on the outside but as soon as it’s unfolded once all the white stripes have pink all over them. Garbage. Got this for memorial day but it’s going back. Disappointing.🇺🇸

Very happy with the item, great quality and will last for years, perfect color and perfect size. Keeps the sun and heat away. Use it anywhere

This shade is pretty big. It covers most of our back patio. It blocks most of the sun while letting a little bit through. The material is a bit different than what i expected but it should be nice for a while.

Installed as soon as it came in. We can’t wait to celebrate America’s Birthday! Very durable. Easy to install. We used vinyl siding hooks to hang this from the house side.

This sunshade works great. Material feels good and gives us enough shade for our patio. Totally ready for summer.

A little put off by no way to hang it. If you never had one you kinda need to know how these things work.

I was so excited about this purchase. I read the reviews and saw one about the red colors bleeding but I thought it was a fluke thing. I was wrong. Before I got it out of the bag completely I could see the colors were bleeding. The stitching on the bottom is coming apart as well. I will be contacting the company to send it back :-(Update 6-29-21 the company sent me a new shade without defects for free. I’m very happy with that!
