Liquid chalk pens leave marks on most if not all chalkboards, so to down rate this board based on that doesn’t seem fair to me.I used a chalk crayon pen from Dollar Tree and it worked like a charm on this board. My writing was on this board for 4 hours. I cleaned it with a moist rag and my writing cleaned right off without leaving any marks or shadows. The image of the blank board is the “after”.The board is a great quality for the price. It was PERFECT for my picture. And it’s pretty sturdy so I know it’s going to last years if I properly store it.

These pictures were taken after writing on it multiple times. I love the bright colors! I used chalk markers which wiped up easily from the board by simply using a baby wipe. There is some slight damage on a corner of the board when I received it, but it isn't noticable in the pictures, so for the price, this is a great buy for some quick first and last day pictures!

I bought 2 different chalkboards and liked this one the best. I returned the other one. This was easy to write on, had simple areas to cover the basics, and seems like it will last a long time. I like that it has the “First and Last Day” boards. Was super easy to clean if you just use a small piece of a magic eraser! I tried with just water and it did not wipe all the chalk off - you could see the shadows of the letters. Mine had sat in my hot car for a week before I cleaned it, and that magic eraser took it off with one wipe!! You will not be disappointed with these boards!

Definitely season the board before you use it! I used liquid chalk pens on this board after seasoning it with traditional sidewalk chalk. Everything came off for the most part, but you can still see imprints of the words if you adjust the angle. Still super cute!

This board was perfect! It’s easy to write on, easy to erase and the colors really pop. I’m looking forward to using this for many years to come!

The media could not be loaded.  So it did come with a small chip noticeable on both sides. I just went ahead and covered it with a black sharpie so no big deal.As for the item itself, it works great! I used it twice in the same day for my two boys so I had to erase everything and redo it. At first I was having trouble since the words wouldn’t fully erase so I ended up using a wet Mr. Clean Magic Sponge and that did the job. The video shows how I did it and the 3rd picture is how it looked after I was done.Also, I did use the Chalk Markers

I haven’t gotten liquid chalk but the colors on the sign are very vibrant and i’m super excited to use it for my 5 year old starting kindergarten next month!
