I Must Garden Deer Repellent [2 Pack: Mint Scent 32oz Ready to Use] - Natural Deer Spray for Gardens & Plants

Each year for the past FIVE years, our manufactured home park of 82 units has been a veritable BUFFET for any number of deer, varying in age from those doggone adorable little ones with spots to their parents, grandparents, and other family members and friends. They simply stroll by and casually snap off new growth and flower buds, leaving, in particular, our roses, decimated! I am a lady who LOVES to bring roses in the house for bouquets and to give bouquets to friends, so you can understand my FRUSTRATION regarding this casual destruction of my roses on a daily basis in the spring! Don’t get me wrong, we love the deer, we just DON’T love what they do to our roses. Last year I tried Irish Spring soap hung around the perimeter of our house and on each rose bush. The deer were not deterred! I may have heard them laughing… This year, I used I Must Garden deer repellent. My husband and I followed the instructions, and we sprayed every week for three consecutive weeks to break the feeding pattern. Our next step is to begin a once-a-month spraying, BUT, although we have seen deer strolling through the park and munching at will, THEY HAVE TOTALLY AVOIDED OUR PROPERTY AND, THUS, OUR 75 ROSE BUSHES!!! Not only do we have growth, BUT, we have LUSH rose bushes on our entire property!!! The pictures attached are three rose bushes on the outside perimeter of our property, on a curve where they are exposed to the main thoroughfare through our park. Last year, these poor bushes were masses of stems that were stripped naked! They were hideous! Look at them now. They are lush with very evident new growth on all of them! All of our roses look like this now! We are ecstatic!!! Now, as far as the smell - it is a “different” smell with a hint of mint, but it dissipates in a very short time, and it is certainly nothing we can’t live with for the short time we detect it. It certainly isn’t rotten eggs or animal waste. In summation, WE LOVE THIS PRODUCT, and we will continue to buy it year after year! Thank you 😊 April 25, 2022 I AM MORE EXCITED THAN EVER!!! May 24, 2022 WE HAVE ROSES!!! This is the first time in five years that there have been roses 🌹 for me to cut and bring into the house! I’ve been using I Must Garden Deer Repellent: Mint Scent for a while now, and the results have been amazing. Before trying it, I stuck to so-called “deer safe” plants, only to wake up and find them devoured overnight. Since spraying this around my perennials, including my hostas, I haven’t had a single problem with deer coming near the garden. The mint scent is very minimal and barely noticeable, which I appreciate. This product has finally made me feel confident about investing in new plants without worrying they’ll disappear by morning. Highly recommended for anyone struggling with deer damage.

I buy 3 bottles per year of I Must Garden deer spray to spray my many hosta. I have been very happy with how this product stops the deer from eating my hosta. In the past I have used many other products with difficult to use sprayers or sprayers that get clogged up quickly. This brand has never had that problem. However this year the bottles had a different sprayer (black instead of white.) This new sprayer is harder to squeeze. I wish you would go back to the older sprayer. I had one of the white sprayers in my garage and I am putting it in each new bottle to replace the black sprayer. Please go back to the original sprayer!

good works well spray lightly at least once a week if rains right after rain the fall kinda smelly need be wear a mask

I applied this protective spray to my hostas before retiring for the night. To my astonishment, the deer's passed by without consuming any of my plants. Since the application, the deer's have not disturbed them at all. I highly recommend this product to others seeking an effective solution to prevent deer's from eating their plants. It has clearly proven to be effective. Upon checking my security camera around 4am, I observed deer's approaching; they smelled the hostas but subsequently walked by without takin any action. This product is truly effective in safeguarding plants from deer's. I purchased two bottles will purchase more when needed. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

I think this works. My flowers haven’t been munched since I sprayed this, but I’m not positive any deer have come around looking. The spray did damage my pansies and they took a while to recover. And the smell is not “not noticeable”. It stinks for a very long time.

It works!!! I’ve had problems with deer eating my hostas every year for years… I’ve tried everything only to be really disappointed when I got up in the morning and saw half my hostas gone… I read the reviews and figured I’d give it a try… I have nothing to lose at this point… I sprayed what was left of the hostas they have eaten and the others they hadn’t gotten to yet. It’s been at least two weeks now and they haven’t touched another leaf!!! i’m just amazed. I wish I knew about this years ago… And it doesn’t smell that bad. It does smell like a mixture of mint and garlic… But it’s not super strong and I don’t smell it when I walk out my door only when I’m applying it… I’m so thankful for this product. It’s not loaded with chemicals and it saves my Landscaping!!

This smells pretty good, but unfortunately it didn't work. I have (had) a potted begonia that I brought in every night from its spot between the garage doors. It kept getting larger and heavier so I decided to try this deer repellent and keep it out at night. I soaked the plant and even sprayed the driveway around it. The odor was strong but not really bad ... no rotten egg smell. The next morning all was good but I hadn't noticed any deer hanging around recently. The second morning the odor was still there but the plant was chewed down to nothing. There had been no rain or dew. Your deer may have different tastes, but I recommend first trying it on something you don't really care about.

There are a couple of local deer that love my garden! This spray does stop them eating my flowers and various plants, and it is still effective after it has rained. I really like the minty smell and am very pleased with this purchase.

Works well in keeping various flower eating animals away from my geraniums and roses

The product has worked in keeping the deer away so far. The problem is the spray itself. Sprays well. However when it is still half full the plastic container sucks in and the spray wont work. This wastes half of the liquid as you cannot get the top off to use the remaining half. I am ordering another one and hoping the same thing does not happen again.
