Art of Cake Pops: 75 Dangerously Delicious Designs

I really liked this book. There was a lot of useful tips about preventing all kinds of common errors that happen when making these pops from yellowing sticks to cracking chocolate coating. Some of the designs were really cute and some pretty simple. If one really wanted to start getting into making cake pops then this is a very good beginners book.

Being a pastry chef myself I bought the book mainly for ideas/inspiration, so in that respect it's a great book and I will have no problem using the ideas in the book as a jumping off point for my own designs (I already use my own recipes, so I can't really comment on that portion of the book).Looking at this book from the perspective of a beginner cake-popper, more step-by-step instructional pics might be called for. The written instructions are very thorough, but for many who are just learning, step-by-step picture tutorials are where it's at. This is a good book, but there are many others just as good that have more thorough illustrations, those would be a better choice for the beginning decorator.If you are an experienced decorator looking for inspiration, and can easily follow written over visual directions, then this could be a great book for you.

I cannot wait to try all of these cake pops! Aliens, animals, garden, birthday cake, wedding cake -all as a cake pop! Step-by-step directions for each design!

The cake pop designs in this book are simply amazing! Noel is so creative and explains every step with so much detail! He included 75 beautiful and fun designs making this book is a serious steal. Looking through the pictures the day I got my book I felt inspired to start making them that night! My cake pops werent as beautiful as his, but they came out delicious! :)If you havent bought this book yet I definitely recommend you order it and see the beauty of his cake pops for yourself!!!

I really love the ideas presented in these book. Regardless if you've been making cakepops for years or a beginner you'll really appreciate the talent and creativity of this author. Can't wait to try it at Jovee's Cakepops projects...
